Thank you, you've given me hope... My radiator is quite rusty from years of a leaky bleeder valve. The valve has been replaced. I hope painting after sanding and cleaning will extend its life

Wow! It's as good as new, never knew this was even possible. I have a rusty radiator in the bathroom. Thank you :)

I've started a radiator renovation job today. I used a small mirror to look behind at the bottom and there's rust. I took the decision to close the valves, drain and remove the radiator to do a more thorough job. The rust had started to spit apart the panel seam at the bottom so wire wheel brushed with a drill and applied rust remover. If the system is pressurised, more prone to leaks if the rust eats through.

👋🏼😁 Hello! Thank you so much for this; the radiator in my bathroom is a fricken disgrace, after watching this I now feel much more confident about giving it a go, and for the results it should produce - nice one! 🥳🙏🏼👌🏼😁

I really didnt think that what you were doing would work and that you would see the bits where you took the rust off,and that it would show through the paint.i am very pleased to say ive been proven wrong, you did a really good job with this,im so glad i clicked on your video first,im due to move and will definitely use your technique,it just shows that with a bit of work you can get something to look great again x

I would have sanded it down a bit more, all in all a decent job. I like the satin finish.

Tip: If you use a foam roller and metal filler you would have got a much better finish.

Very good work. I'm thinking of painting mine. More for aesthetics rather than rust or damage. How has it help up. Do you find that is lest hot. Has the painting affected the performance?

This radiator paint is absolutely rubbish.... I bought some last week and I did not get results like this!...it was like trying to paint a radiator with yoghurt. Avoid this paint at all costs.

Give it a couple of months & the rust will reappear. Should have scraped it first to get rid of the loose paint & then hit it with sandpaper… right back to the bare steel. No primer???
