It started fast and I have to get the Super C out soon . I got a late start on projects this Spring due to the weather and everyone on my street has been hitting me up for tractor and chainsaw work to boot. I hope you are well

Hello nice you are getting the nice weather and hauling manure in short sleeves.And to think you just got snow .This video brings lot of memories as I see you fixing the chain I remember that very day my Dad did the very same thing .And your spreader looks the same do you know what year yours is? I can’t tell exactly what year the spreader is, but I’m guessing from the late 1940s as around 1960 the 100 was replaced by the 10. The 100 Spreader was in the 1946 catalog. Thank you for watching and I hope you are well
Hi! I enjoyed seeing you spread some manure. I have an old International 200 that I spread sheep manure on my hay fields last year. Pulled it with my Mahindra Max 26 xl shuttle. Loaded it with my Mahindra 1626 shuttle. So far I haven't had to repair anything.
I think I would have preferred a shuttle on my Max as the hydro is hard on my knee, but otherwise, I still like it. My brother in law has a 200 spreader rotting out in the weeds unfortunately. Do you still like your Mahindras? Thank you for watching and I hope you are well
@@LedgemereHeritageFarm Yes, I still like my Mahindras. I have the Max 26 xl shuttle, 1626 shuttle, 1635 shuttle, 1538 shuttle. I can't use a hydro transmission because I have problems with my right foot. I raise about 140 Dorper sheep (am lambing now). I have trouble connecting various implements to the tractor which is why I have so many--one has a sicklebar mower attached, one a rotary cutter, one a flail mower, etc. I use the Max 26 xl nearly every day.
Tom, no worries about not having videos. You are a busy man with a farm and all, it’s understandable. Good video though, and neat to see repairs in the field. One thing I just noticed though. It looks like the rear tires on the 140 are set out some, for stability I am sure. Am I correct or is it just my eyes? Thanks again!
They are indeed set out a little bit. It’s a great setting for pretty much everything except cultivation of narrow rows. To be honest, I’m just going to use my mantis rototiller in between the corn rows this year, but I like the cultivator frame for step and occasionally hilling a row.
