This guy is an absolute wizard! Zero overcut, zero chatter, zero off grade. I’m still in shock and I’ve run heavy equipment my entire life. He’s a Jedi level operator 100%!
Fantastic work with attention to detail. Such an informative and enjoyable video to watch. Good to see a backhoe loader working always wanted to work with one of these myself.
Cut my teeth on these , operated them for over 10 years , I was told if you can operate that youth , you can operate anything !! Definitely a skill to these , unfortunately these days folk go for 360's . Deep down I'm still a lover of the 3cx , very versatile productive machine all in one package !
Great to see a proper JCB Backhoe-Loader working instead of these infernal Mini/Midi diggers! They all have their place, I suppose - but sad to see there's hardly any skilled operators for this type of machine anymore. I grew up in the early 70's watching some serious skills being shown on road jobs/building sites on 3CII +III's. Never lost that thrill when I see one being operated well today. I hope to restore a 3C myself one day. Great stuff..
Hi Gareth, Thanks for the comments and hope you keep watching, just waiting for it to dry up so I can get some more jobs done Hope you find a nice 3c to restore I’ve just done a international drott
Good morning Ted, thank you for the video and a tidy job!! I’m wondering perhaps cut both sides out then the middle to try and stop the bucket wondering!! Once again thank you and take care 👍😎🇬🇧.
Hi Wayne, Thanks for the comments, I would normally cut the sides first but it the machine slipping down the slope that’s the problem and once it’s slipped if you lift the machine back to the middle she’d slide back down on the legs…… sort as it long I suppose 😂 Thanks for watching Teds Shed
Just a few questions about operation here, since I have never operated a backhoe. What technique/use of controls do you use to sort of give that shake of the shovel with what looked like minimal movement? Regarding the technique scraping the ground a couple inches or so, how do you go about it that you don't dig too deep?
Yes could be done with the front bucket but the ground is soft so would rut badly using more stone also I wouldn’t have made this video which as over 100k view 😎
Howdy Paul, Only thing with a tracked machine is you have to keep chucking muck under one track to dig deeper one side? And we haven’t got a tracked Machine 😂
Your work is very tidy , just doing tracks same depth here in East Grinstead with a 5.5 ton kubota i had to comment never got used to JCB controls , you are more restricted with wheels if the weather turns
Think will fill with water rain runs down the hill Stone sitting in water needs treach down middle roll of hundred ml pipe so poor farmer Mole the field in the drain the Roman way Hope DEFRA pay you
Nice demonstration of a skilled operator with thousands of hours of experience .
Many, many, many thousands of hours of experience…✌️
By far the best bit of digging and shaping by anyone I've seen before on a jcb backhoe, made it look effortless, tip my hat to you sir
I'll second that comment, very impressed..
Hi Demien,
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks Teds Shed

Good lord man! I’ve been running heavy equipment all my life and I’ve just gotta say that you are the OG!🫡🫡
I appreciate that!
I still operate a JCB 3cx, it's a shame not people want to use them.
Great machines

Congratulation my man a very few operators can achieve such a smooth and neat work with the backhoe. Impressive !!
I love your videos and your construction sites that you do with the backhoe loader

Superb operator...reminds me of the good old days when i used to be able to operate a JCB 3CMK11 in the same way, fantastic vid, enjoyed every minute.
Thanks Richard, it was driving a 3c power train machine when I was a kid that got me hooked on wanting to do this for a living 😊

Wow, this is possible! Clean work... JCB backhoe is awesome. Pilot is more awesome.
У меня точь такой же планировочный ковш. Обожаю с ним работать.
Very cool videos! My son loves them!
Awesome! Thank you!
That is an actual joke how good you are on operating this machine 🤩😎
😊

Tidy job👍
Very nice skills cheers. I have an old Brazilian model 4CX full of problems. Does yours have 3 gears and 3 Reverse and auto transmission?
Hi most of the uk models have a 4 speed power shift gear box but mine as a 6 speed automatic with a lock up torque convert
@@tedsshed2185 Nice. Cheers
Just found you on u tube great 👍 jcb operator
Thanks Nigel
Good work Me old Mucker.
Cheers me owd 😉
Is it possible to do the job with the multipurpose front bucket faster? I’m sure this compromises quality but just wondering by how much
Yes could be done with the front bucket but the ground is soft so would rut badly using more stone also I wouldn’t have made this video which as over 100k view 😎
JCB👌👍🇮🇳
Whats your thoughts on a raised road with rubber mats below?
Hi Jimbo,
Might have trouble with it holding water?
Красаучек
Will there be a sequel?

It's going to be wet ted,
Yep this snow melting and wet next week won’t be good for digging
Tidy easier with tracks

@@tedsshed2185 Got me there , i am doing a similar job with 5.5 ton kubota in West Sussex . i have a slight advantage now its wet though !
