• The Break Down •
Watch this epic live set recording from my Mad Monday set at this year's Esoteric Festival 2022. Filmed by the great Jurassic Melbourne at what was the most epic stage and space setting I've ever danced in.
I came into this Esoteric Festival with a fair bit of personal drama, that would be worthy of a Seinfeld episode for sure. All the BS washed away as soon as we were inside the festival grounds and first laid foot inside the sacred Bushtechno space. This set was represents my perception of daytime Mad Monday chunk. A sound that I feel captures the colours, the patterns, the trees, the ravers I cut shapes with and the openness of Australian day time dance-floors.
I'm not a big moments and hands in the air kind of guy, so it's awesome watching back through this and seeing people completely dialled into the act of dance as I showcase a deeper side to me.
This set was completely unplanned and I felt we were all completely un-hinged, giving 0 fucks and having a blast. Perfect.
