  • This Talk examines how Climate Change impacts countries differently and what are the implications of that. Linda Bouadjel-Zebian is a senior at Los Gatos High School. As co-founder and co-president of the Environmental Outreach Club, she is very passionate about protecting and preserving the environment. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, listening to music, and playing the piano.     I dont think that temperature and amount of heatwaves are comparable since some countries are naturally hotter or colder based on how close or far they are from the equator

      yes, but the point was to address the geography of these developing countries as more and more heat waves with higher intensity are becoming more and more common in these countries. Under such conditions Pakistan had to call national holidays as labourers were being more and more hospitalized due to these increasing heat waves. Therefore, they are being compared as to highlight the much more severe threat that these geographically prone countries face due to climate change.
