My situation is quite opposite to this, I am hard core veg while my husband is hard core non-veg. I cook veg at home while he gets non-veg from hotel
This is usually a good practice. I'm mostly veg guy but would like to have non veg atleast twice/thrice a month so I usually go out or order from Zomato because of my wife. My mom is also veg but she does cook non veg for my dad.

I was a hardcore non-vegetarian till 22nd December 2021.
Got married on 14th July 2021 and my wife is a vegetarian and prefers veg food. But she would always cook my favorite dishes of fish, chicken, mutton without any complaints and never let me feel out of place.
She would even try to have a piece or two but I could see a discomfort in her eyes. But I truely love and respect my wife that she would never keep me deprived of non-veg food and does her best to keep me happy.
My wife being brought up in Gujarat and has typical Gujarati food preference. Over couple of months, our bond got stronger and I finally decided to quit non-veg on 23rd December which happens to be her birthday.
Ever since I had adopted Eggiterian (to be precise), I feel better. My veg diet includes - all veg, eggs, milk, soya and mushrooms. I had reduced weight and feel fresh. It is just the human mind which you can mold, provided if the intentions are clear and determination is stronger.
Overall, with the changes I had seen in me, I am glad to have taken this decision :-)

@@urmilaroy3801 गेहूं वगैरह पौधों के मरने के बाद प्राप्त होता है । सब्जियो के लिए पौधों को जड़ से नही उखाड़ते। इसलिए अन्न को कभी व्यर्थ नही करते । अन्न ग्रहण करना आवश्यक है इसलिए मजबूरी में हमे पौधों वृक्षो से फल तोड़ने होते है। रही प्रोटीन वगैरह तो दाल है । वसा वगैरह के लिए दूध घी है। ये सब बहाने उन लोगो के है जिनकी आत्मा मर चुकी है जीभ के स्वाद के नीचे । अपने स्वाद और स्वार्थ के लिए इन बेचारे मासूम जीवो की हत्या करते हो । अगर आवश्यकता नही है तो पेड़ की पत्ती तक को तोड़ने से बचना चाहिए। वनस्पति जगत(plant) जंतु जगत (animalia)के पोषण के लिए है। और हां nervous sys जन्तुओ का अधिक एक्टिव होता है। इस तरह तो आदमी ही आदमी को खा जाए तो फिर कैसा दोष ,जो आतंकी लोगो को मारते है वो भी निर्दोष क्योकि जब पेड़ कट सकते है तो आदमी भी। थोडा बुद्धि का प्रयोग करो दोनों में अंतर समझो। पेड़ भोजन देकर हम पर उपकार करते है इसलिए हमारी संस्कृति जन्हें पूजती है। पर इसका मतलब ये नही हम जानवर को भी मारना शुरू कर दे। शहद के लिए पूरा छत्ता नही तोड़ते आपको अगर पता हो।प्रकृति के पास हमारी आवश्यकता के लिए बहुत है परंतु लालच और निर्दयता के लिए नही। अगर आप चाहते है ईश्वर आप पर दया करे तो आप इन जीवों पर दया करो। जितना हो सके दुसरो को कष्ट देने से बचे। उनके जीवन की रक्षा करे। ॐ शिवोहं

I'm 22. vegetarian from childhood I don't remember exactly when I've started to be, I'm from non vegetarian Bengali family whose cuisine all about fish now imagine how much problem I have to face in picnic with friends, school tour, marriage reception, family get together and much more. they crack joke on me that you are a Bengali and don't eat fish how are you alive 😑, yesterday was my friend marriage reception all friends were having sufficient mutton and only I'm having Alu patol 😂😂😂
