- So your macerator pump has given up, can't empty the holding tank (where it's totally legal to do so). Before you reach for the wallet or check book to buy a replacement, try this little trick first.
Thank you. It saved us some dirty work and money
Thanks for the useful tip! Hi from Finland 🇫🇮😊
Yep, the motor was not spinning and it was tripping out the circuit breaker(this was after pulling the whole thing out TWICE for a blockage🥵) and your tip worked a treat! Thank you.
Saved the day, I was just about to tear the pump out. It's super inaccessible, but that shaft was easy to get too. You literally made my 4 hour job a 2 min fix. Thank you!
hope it helped
Same same!👍🏻
Legend! Awesome tip, mate. You saved me buying a new one.
Good info and good attempt for not saying s##t. Good video even without the kids.
You are a legend Sir... worked a treat!
Great thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Saved me some time and money!
Thanks for sharing!
Think I owe you a beer...
I hope this helped
Great tip.thanks.
Thank you so much
My pump is like the one you show in the boat. Do you remove those 2 8mm bolts first? Or pry that little black piece off?
If it's the brand that we were replacing (jabsco) you should not need to remove bolts. The little rubber cover on the motor shaft should pop off easily. Thanks for watching.
Does this method work for the propeller or the blade? I've bought enough several brand new and the blades work but nothing pumps outwards
the type of macerator we have here, the chopper blades and the rubber impeller are both driven by the same motor shaft.
Just like a sink garbage disposal in a home...
