Syntac those hexagon shaped rocks at 16:10 are part of a geological structure referred to as Columnar Joints. They appear a lot in drying mud or lava flows. When they appear in very regular, straight shapes like those specific ones you see there, they're called Colonnades. Hope this is a nice fun fact for you :)

lotusStar 35 well extinction and Genesis technically have wyverns. Just not obtainable ones.
The lower the level, the less Prime Crystal you get when you knock it down
Below level 35 you get 2-3 prime crystals
above 40-45 4-6 Prime crystals
80+ 7-11 Prime Crystals
Alpha of course give way more. lvl 110 gave me 52 crystals and if I understand right, alphas level also affect how many crystal you can get. (someone who knows more can maybe correct me, I found and killed only 1 alpha wyvern but heard alpha level also affect how many crystals you can get.)

The amount of primal crystals you get from a wyvern scales with their level. (Thanks for the correction) 😂

Tropical Crystem Wyvern = Gets faster and stronger found in Crystal Island.
Blood Crystal Wyvern = Sucks blood when spits blood it heals when it socks blood found in forest.
Ember Crystal Wyvern = Most powerful wyvern it has a strong flame when you spam breath fire and found in Mountain Island
Queen Crystal Wyvern = Has all the spirits it breath fire,blood,water.
Secret Alpha Crystal wyvern = This boss spawns at the dessert near at Crystal Wyverns home and stronger than other crystal wyvern.

From what I have seen from testing on official the eggs are dropped by the heirs but the eggs hatch a standard crystal wyvern and the babies eat primal crystals but in saying that I have not fully raised a baby yet so it could be like a reaper and it transforms at the adult stage.
They become regular crystals but can be higher lvl than the standard tameable ones
We lost 2 heroes today reginald and the nameless pteranodon 2 noble heroes who sacrificed their lives to syntac the great may they Rest In Peace *sobs*

I got a 234 Blood Crystal Heir Wyvern egg yesterday and when I hatched it today I got triplet just plain Blood Crystal Wyverns. Though, have to say, not gonna find 234s regular ones...so guess it's a way of getting higher level ones. Unless it's a bug, and they are supposed to also be Heirs....
It isn't a bug you only get crystal ones from the eggs

That area with the beavers is where my 1st base was built. It was really safe, and had an abundance of supplies. Those beaver dams allowed me to build up a very nice stash of cement paste before I could even use it. Now I have way more than I need with an ability to get more.

Just started a new journey on Crystal after finding out about the passive drakes. Didn't know about the heir wyvern area....flying near the cave 2 of them just flew at me from in the ground. Scared the dog shit out of me 😂

Primal crystals you can get more from higher levels. To tame the wyverns I recomend going onto their back because after the 1st feed it takes of, and if you run out of primal crystals you can feed them normal crystals but it goes up like 3-4% taming and if you continue taming with normal crystals at some point the taming will start to go down. I hope this helps.
How to you climb on to their backs? Do you climb up they’re wings or something

Syntac, The higher the level they wyvern, the more crystals you can harvest from them. Knocking them out is the only way to get primal crystal.

the ember wyvern is the strongest one, because its ability turns its fire blue and increases the damage, but the tropical one its the one with the best burn damage, and the blood just have the ability to cure him self
If anyone is asking the wyvern deb currently is kinda bad, there’s 2-3 spots where they lay eggs consistently and they’re all OUTSIDE the den, another thing, YOU CAN BREED TROPICAL CRYSTAL WYVERNS you will never find there eggs at the den but you can enable mating on the ones you passive tame, one last tip if you wanna speed up the taming process you gotta be fast but you can try to jump on there tail when they’re landed and climb up there back and feed them that way, they’ll never land once you feed them on there back so don’t fall off but in my experience it makes it go by much faster and lose way less taming effectiveness

Fun fact: You can get eggs like 210s even in Vanilla ark on regular settings. Their so rare though their almost impossible to get.
This is why I only use creatures that I bred up so they are disposable.

you dont kill them for primal crystals you K.O them then take the primal crystals , build a trap and trap one then K.O it and take the crystals then repeat for a farming primal crystal pen , the higher the crystal wyverns level the higher number of primal crystals you get. if your trying to steal a heir egg grab it then fly off preferably with a fast flyer if the alphas follow just have honey set to a quick slot then drop it , the alphas will go for the honey giving you enough time to escape with the egg :) also the eggs can be random from blood , fire , poison etc i have over 200 stolen wyvern heir eggs lol.
