- I hiked up to the Caserma Forestale above Montepertuso. There are various ways to get there. I took an old pathway that can be found just after La Tagliata restaurant. You can also take the zig zag steps signposted for the 'B&B Le Ghiande' in Montepertuso.
We visited the Castello di Lettere: pompeiisites.or...
Entrance fee is Euro 2 per person. Check times as it closes for siesta!

Nicki, it would be wonderful If one day Carlo recorded stories from his family’s history in the region. ... how many generations have walked those pathways and tended their crops. It’s an idyllic life to work with the seasons and traditions, one of the things that I love about Italy in general.

WOW, that is insane how the entire property becomes a cascade of waterfalls; I was surprised you could safely climb those stairs with the amount of water flowing down them. It was impressive, thank you for the diligent (and brave) effort to go out there and show us on video😃. That is indeed a perfect way of describing the way I felt when upon hearing that ordinance announced... and although it's been 10 days it's still like the freight train just hit me.

Nicki, your walk on the mountain with Holly was so relaxing to watch. The history of your area is so enchanting. The hard working lives of the people of the past. My grandmother used to say we are but pebbles on the beach next to the centuries that have been before us. A lovely evenings viewing and thankyou.

I love that you are narrating the way you are. Poetry is maybe the most touching aspect of being human, with no rules, no right or wrong, just each individual trying to explain, or share, what we experience in life through the few words we have, and the endless joys and sorrows along the way. Keep it up, and always do it your way. And I have to say, god I love Holly. What a dog and companion. Adventurous, determined, and loving life. If only we could all find the same sense of fun.

The view from the castle is spectacular. I could sit up there all afternoon & just gaze at everything. I just love Holly. She's such a little explorer, walking everywhere and on everything.
I enjoyed that. Especially the rain. Here in Pretoria in South Africa the weather buro is still giving a 100% chance of rain. Except l still had to water my veggies because there is no rain. Just wonderful.

The mountain hike castles abandoned homes of long ago.You could almost feel what life was like.So amazed the waterfalls roaring down the steps.Holly is such a lucky pooch living in the hills of Positano.Thankyou Nicki lovely vlog❤️❤️

The knee problem was resolved (I was sitting cross legged while editing, which I have now stopped)
What a spectacular view! The area is so gorgeous made even more fascinating by its ancient and more modern history. How nice to explore it and seemingly be the only ones there - wow. Thanks! See Vesuvius - makes my heart sing - I love it there so much and missing this Fall's trip to Naples....sigh. That mountain walk with Holly was awesome. My dogs would probably run after lizards and never return. 🙄 One of my favorite Italian Restaurants here is also called Mamma Mia. Loved the rain. I thought I had a lot of tea. You can open a tea shop. 😅

Castellammare trip was very pleasant I enjoyed the medieval castle. The torrential rain storm was amazing!! It has been a while that you have not been kayaking cutie pie Holley she loves the ride. I love and enjoy your videos so much and the way you all are with your animals and your land. I adore holly shes so sweet, she reminds me alot of my beloved baby(dog) billie joe the way she is and acts like your own child. When we got into lockdown past march in los angeles two weeks after lockdown started he passed away he had been in my life for 14 and a half wonderful years. Enjoy holly and your other pets to the fullest god has blessed them to have wonderful people like you guys.
