Yes - loved that!
The only critique I'd offer is that Sanderstead bowled more long-hops and half-volleys in this one game than they have in the previous episodes of this dramatic series - that being said, you have to acknowledge the Cheam kids for swinging effectively through the arc.
Agreed - the Cheam boys batted really well, they seemed to middle everything!

Great Stuff Dan as usual and what a great match! Just saw on play cricket that the 1s managed to survive 51 overs scoring only 80 odd for 8 for the draw- what a great effort that was!
Absolutely - we were missing a few key players. A 16 yr old making his debut as a bowler batted 48 balls for 0 not out!!!! Apparently the oppo got increasingly desperate, understandingly, and one of them started crying (allegedly) 😂. Two similar games, though I think I filmed the right one.
Very good effort from both teams. I was at Edgbaston on Sunday for the test match, I saw the Cornish Kohli and Jallen. I really did enjoy the day, my first test match.
That’s strange - Jallen told me he was away with his girlfriend and Kohli was off with his boyfriend! 😂
Good glimpse into the future, I fancy a couple of these might do well in longer formats, would like to see the festival if there are any home games. Luca is some batter

Wow - how great to have 3 pitches all within walking distance of the bar and clubhouse!
It is handy! Though the two rec pitches aren’t our own and are shared with various Last Man Stands teams. We do get priority for Saturday league games
Credit to Cheam for batting and field placement. And credit to Sandarstead for dogged determination - it just wasn't their day.
Really enjoyable game played in great spirit.
That wasn't a bad attempt of reaching the target set by a good Cheam team. Defeat isn't important, as long as they learn from it 👍

Once again the 40 run rule spoils a game.
In this case it was by mutual consent - it was a friendly, so not competitive in the usual sense. But would have been great to see if Luca could have “gone big”

Not necessarily for those kids who got a bat after he went. It's about giving them all a go. These games are played to get kids involved, not for our entertainment purposes.
