  • Two small tooth trolls, Karius (caries) and Baktus (bacteria), live inside cavities in the teeth of a boy named Jens. They have a very good life, especially when Jens eats white bread with syrup and fails to brush his teeth afterwards.
Eventually their homes - the cavities, are destroyed by a dentist and they are rinsed out of Jens’ mouth through proper dental care.
The Asia premiere was attended by the Norwegian Embassy, executives from Norwegian companies, representatives from the Health Promotion Board (HPB), media writers, and families familiar with and interested in the story of Karius and Baktus. A recorded speech by Eivind S. Homme, Norway’s Ambassador to Singapore, warmed up the audience. And in lieu of the attendance of the ambassador, we are graced by Mr. Andreas Aure, First Secretary & Deputy Head of Mission. The Norwegian Cultural Center's founder, Jon Vikan, also shared a short speech before the show started.
