Is the Cadillac Escalade showing its age? Would you take it over the Navigator? Telluride? Palisade?
not really
This thing is a glaring reminder of why GM had so many troubles in the past. The interior is awful, especially considering the price.
No. I would take the Lincoln,
Or the Mercedes GLS. Are you gonna review that or have you already?

No. I would choose Navigator or Lexus LX570
Cadillac just got put on blast lmaoooo

You0nlyLiveonce...it was needed. GM sucks!
@@metromusic5725 oh ok thank for explaining it to me
You0nlyLiveonce HOW was GM put on blast? This vehicle is 6 years old and y’all are reviewing it as if it was just released. 😂🤣😭
The Escalade is for people who like a Tahoe but think it’s just too affordable
narebman lmao. That’s totally accurate! Haha.
wrong ! like the tahoe but dont want a 5.3 or the same interior as the million tahoes and yukons on the road
Exactly what my parents said 😭😂
You meant tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo affordable
The best value out of all three is the Yukon Denali. That's what I'd choose if I was in the market for one. If you have the extra money AND you want others to know it, then buy the Escalade, if you can't afford either you buy the Tahoe.
no air suspension in a $100k+ 2019 SUV is actually ridiculous
didafm because reliability is the most important thing for the type of people that but this car...
They did that for reliability. The last gen escalade had air suspension and it was always broken.
At least this car will last past 200k Mike's
@@EagleEyes11497 Well yeah, for 100k€ you could expect an air suspension thats actually durable
Drake Robichaud doubt that..
this is the same car that had sunroof leaking issues in 2016.
It also hasn't scored well from any reliability test.
Looking at the interior, I think it's just nuts that this costs as much as a well equipped S-Class or a Lexus LS.
This car is straight garbage
Not defending it but it’s a much much bigger car than the ones you mentioned
Wyatt mercedes gls and bmw x7
Well it can tow either of those vehicles with little effort so maybe that's why.

I do believe they get sent places like Detriot Auto show and other car shows. They pay for their travel, food, probably get a limo for them.
What did the sir on Hawaiian shirt mean ? Links to videos of you guys in limos please?
Jusbert Meza nah, they get cars to review
@@punnequraq yeah and that includes them going places to review then. Like when they reviewed the VWs in that rich hotel cabin in Canada. Or when they went to take the RWD stingers for drifting

Jacob.. All your rant comes down to one thing. It's a GM product.
ShikiKaze underrated comment because it’s so damn true lol
Yeah no matter how hard you polish a turd, it will still be a turd. That's gm
I scrolled down to comments to say exactly that...but you have it covered. Garbage company. The only thing worse than their vehicles is the fact that they were bailed out. We were almost rid of them...
Squeaks and rattles in a GM lol typical
Well, "it's a gm" is a thing for a reason lol
I’m sure the next generation Cadillac Escalade will be incredible but at this point in time, the new Navigator would have my money. It’s stunning inside and out plus it moves really well. Thanks for always posting these incredible quality videos guys! Not only does it help grow the knowledge in the world about new vehicles but it gets people more involved with the car community! Y’all inspired me to get into doing reviews and it’s no secret why. Keep up the great work and congrats on all your trending videos! 👊👊👊
Right on forrest👏👏
platform is just too old. would much rather a Navigator or a fully loaded Telluride/Palisade.
Lexus LX ;)
I'd rather have the escalade that lasts at the very least 200k miles. Or a Lexus
Drake Robichaud recommend the LX. We had a 2013 LX that we use for many road trips. It has always been one of the smoothest rides we had and it certainly lasted. 103k miles when we sold it for the 2017 model.
A fucking Kia over this? This how I know everyone in this comment section is fucking retarded
@@suleiman3811 true , most of them are 17 year old kids saying dumb stuff based on youtube reviews. Most of them never bought a car or roll in a 99 camry. LOVE the BMW X7 grill swaps - hilarious!
Cadillac Escalade 2019 looks almost unchanged with some minor differences but it has the same ol' infotainment for a very long time....
It's because this generation came out in 2015. There will be a new one in the coming year or two.
"we've been in a lot of limousines" - weird flex....
Mat Watson flex is beautiful to look at
I think it’s supposed to be completely redesigned for 2020 or 2021...

Cypress Thunder since ive been alive we have had 6 GM’s, arguably 7, possibly 8. 4 buicks, all company cars that got thrashed and worked flawlessly when my dad turned them in because the lease was up. My moms car, a 2004 yukon, well we bought it new and it still gets daily driven. Then theres my dads 2016 terrain. No problems so far, he’s almost had it for 3 years. Then there the 09 vibe which was a complete piece of shit(it wasnt a gm car though), and the 8th one well my 01 isuzu trooper, which i bought off a friend years ago but at the time it was sold GM had a 51% stake in isuzu. A lot of the electronics under the hood were delphi(GM) and theyve lasted 19 years. The parts that have failed were japanese or german, like the starter and the abs pump. They’re reliable in my book
Frank Magana my family has had 5. my grandma’s 02 trailblazer throws a new check engine light every other week, and my uncle’s 16 suburban does the same thing.
my parents used to have a 13 silverado and a 12 lacrosse, both had to have multiple trans rebuilds until we got rid of them both in 17. finally, my sister’s old 15 acadia’s water pump went out the week after she got it, and it’s had a bunch of random electrical problems since. doesn’t seem like a very reliable company, that’s why we went to ford :)
Cypress Thunder if theyve all been “shit” why have you kept buying them... 4 seems like its your fault lmao
The 2021 model has a screen that looks like MBUX because of the size
I have never felt like I would prefer a Navigator over an Escalade. Since both were introduced. I would NOW take a Navigator, in a heartbeat. Cadillac is falling behind. It's a fancy Tahoe. That's it.
Same! Escalades have always been my favorite but the new Navigator just hit it out of the park.
Navigator?... Escalade? What's the difference?... It's the same poor quality, overpriced US crap.
That Navigator Grill is so damn upside down ugly I will never like it. X7 looks stupid but the navigator is offensive
The Cadillac is freaking beauty in motion compared to those two disasters.
Casey Todd you’re seriously comparing a brand new redesigned navigator to a 6 year old Escalade?? Where’s the logic?
@@mybro727 I think you should be asking Cadillac that question. That's the whole point. The current iteration is dated and overpriced. 100k plus for this? If it were priced at 60-70, sure. But by leaving it with a premium sticker, Cadillac is saying that it is comporable to other vehicles with the same price tag; the Navigator Black Label. Which, it is not. Caddy either needs to cut the price by 25% or do a ground up redesign.

Andre Estes my 05 Yukon has air suspension too
My 2017 electric bike too
My donkey has air suspension

Mike roch has air suspension
I like the column shifter. Makes a nice change from the annoying electronic shifters in most modern cars.
The offset projected logo at the back is for the foot activated power liftgate, or at least that's what it is for in our Chevy Traverse
Ok, so I just his pause at the 4 minute mark. I gotta say, I've loved every second hearing Jakub rip into this "luxury" SUV. At this point, the Escalade is akin to a 60 year old hooker still roaming the night club scene trying to look "with it" by holding smart phone but not really knowing how to use it, as demonstrated by the well though-out placement of the lane keep/departure button.
Best. Comment. Yet.
If anyone's buying this over an X7, you might just be crazy.
If anyone’s buying this over a navigator you might be crazy

Navigator is honestly so much better than these things. They’re barely different than the suburban.
To be fair, it's an old platform and it's supposed to be replaced in the next year.
I agree. Much higher quality
Older generation navigators I liked way better then the Escalade even though the Escalades had better engines. Now the Navigator is a better truck but I still like Escalade better.
