Wooden hammers are a speed run material for smithing. Making charcoal is worth the most xp and Wooden hammers can be smelted into 3 wood giving you a convenient supply of 20 denar wood and a rough iron. So have companions smelt and then make charcoal rinse repeat. Can hit lvl 100 smith for less than 6k denar in just a couple days.

A couple days is definitely a stretch it takes like 2 days just to recover the smithing limit not to mention everyone would need 5 focus points to max it out for any real effect
@@KangaroofiletI found 8 seconds (real time) is the sweet spot for regaining stamina while waiting in the town. I'm not sure if investing attribute points in smithing will shorten the time, but it should.
@@Enceladus...I've been powering smithy for like a week now, going from town to town with my party, soaking up all the cash around, and yeah higher level smithing characters recover too 100 faster then lower level people even though the lower levels have less stamina too regen, my main charcter regens too full in about 7 hours in game but the lower levels can take a full day or 2 too regen.
If you're looking for a very quick start, you can go to the retreat and pass your clan to your brother. Your brother has a dozen or so skills that start over 100 and has a fully customizable stat array
Does it not work the same if you make your own guy older ??
@@BM3465NIyou dont have the option to have a brother in sandbox mode . So im assuming in story mode you will be anle to retreat to become your brother .
If you recruit forest bandits you can turn them in to fian champions! Get the veteran perk!
in early game, turn looters to run, and follow on horseback killing them one-by-one with melee. Rapidly raises weapon skill. Works for rapid advance of bow as well.

Noble troops are always going to be found in villages bound to castles

Really? So if selling gear in your own town only sell the expensive items?
Best tip you said was about the surgeon. They are kick ass and save troops that saves denars.

It’s being speculated on reddit that the update won’t be coming to consoles until the end of autumn which I believe is November
Im playing the campaign for the souther empire and I'm executing every lord forcing their faction into submission after a while.. less lords - less troops to command. Ofc I check their status/friends etc so I don't kill so many influencing lords within my own faction.. if it decrease too much I just deliver a lord into their castle/town as prisoner. Easy way to get the relation up with a lord of your own faction. :)
I'm seriously keen on the next update in two years so I won't die of old age next playthrough

It feels like I’m running in circles
Have you ever received the Imperial plume helmets in your playthroughs?
The 1 thing I learned: You can see negative effects before you execute someone.
Sieging castles and towns. bring a lot of food, and wait til the target starves. The entire garrison will die, leaving only the militia ... roughly half the defenses will die before you attack. You can take down targets double your army size.
Wow, reading this comment is weird... I can't imagine exactly how this game work's, and each comment like this makes the game seems amazing, it's 40% off on PlayStation and i'm think on getting it on my PS5.
Yeah I try this but most the time another one of their armies comes and tries fucking with me or they go target that I need to defend
@@Gzsfdefintley need a little more coordination with your faction well options for it. Been having a strange bug that if someone comes and joins my siege I lose the option to engage the siege
U can also just pound the walls of the castle while ur at it. This makes it way easier to just rush in
@karalaswantsjustice1705 I know it's late but it's not a glitch, the larger army takes control of the siege.
Ive been struggling with splitting my units... I was able to do it before but now its not letting me at all and i dont know why. Im trying to split 30 heavy sturgian axemen from 30 imperial legionaries?
Im pretty sure fian champions are nerfed. They die the most in my armies. Best tropos for me are elite cataphracts and legionary with vlandian sharpshooters as archers along with khans guards
HELP! So I made the kingdom jump with 1500 influence and 3.1M denars. I've done a great job at taking territory in the north. This is after making a jump attempt at 1M denars and lead to me being broke within a month, getting captured and watching all all my cities burn to the ground as they take me to the nearest dungeon.
In my newest kingdom jump, Ive recruited 3 clans so far which has cost me GREATLY. That plus taking 7 castles and 4 cities, I am now down to -1.8M. Having to pay larger kingdoms to keep the peace has DRAINED me. Here is my current issue. I just recruited my third clan. I wanted someone in the south who could fight that kind of battle once I needed too. I had to give up horse, weapons, armor and anything else since I DONT have any money left. Here is what I noticed and my biggest problem with moving forward.
NONE of my clans seem to be recruiting troops!! Literally everyone I have is a tier 4 or 5 minus the one companion that I promoted. I have been giving out castles and cities on a rotation to ensure I stay in positive influence with all of them but literally they all seem to CONSTANTLY stay at 40 troops or under. My three companion parties seem to recruit but even they have now stopped. I can only build my own army up to 300 using loot from recent battles.
What can I check in the game to ensure my clans are collecting troops? Is the issue that I am broke so they cant???? Should I take back all my properties to try and reduce my debt down? I have completely elminated the Sturgans and the Northern Empire. I dont know what else to do but there is no way I can take on the "Big 3" left to try and win the game if my clans are too busy drinking wine, getting laid and not collecting troops. I just hit tier 5 or 6 which added another companion. I think I need to get them back to caravans to try and net more cash but at 1.8M in the hole I dont believe it will even make a dent.
How do get moore towns or castles? Some playthroughs i having a hard time get some! You get the first one easy but the second!

Is there any possibility of getting console commands in ps4.?
Please TaleWorlds add some nice looking helmets in the update for consoles. Great helm or winged helm, something besides the trash ass vanilla helmets. And plate armor, I’m trying to be a knight here.

How do you know if you gave made a master or legendary crafted weapon?
Also my max troop count is 170 I think. I know when steward is leveled and other perks it will increase, but how do.i get a real big army of like say 1000?
Certain policies can increase it, as well as if you are a ruler, if all else fails, have your companions lead their own parties, you can recruit them into your army for free, and easily increase your max amount
Your party can only be around 200 however an army is a group of multiple parties hence the massive troop number
You can recruit other nobles parties or your companions parties to make a large 1000+ army
@@isaacwhite7602 No this isn't right, with all the perks and policies, your own personal army can be 550+
Does anyone know how do you put all your players on the field, is there a cap size, I habe 250 men but it will let me put 100 men on the field at once
If your playing on console you have to change from performance to fidelity

I conquest Lageta,Pen cannock and Kayaz . I don't declare a kingdom.Move at map 1000 days and protect caravans. ,at clan born a 9 child😅😅 and 2 sis bro, every kings send request to vassalage ,but they don't declare a war. Best time at calradia. With 160 soldier we can do a siege at least 160 days,they dying after harvest. But it's a bug what no one attacked me?
How do you conquer those towns? Do you wait until they are rebel towns?

@@ferg4486 yes) O have 6 city's and if u don't declare a war,no one attack u . I collected 1,3 mln, start a long war for ortisya vs Garius empire with 3 city's. But i had only 240 troops. I killed maybe 4000 of them before they give me do assault ortisya. They have eat for 7 days,but enemy's lords every time so fast recruiting peasants ,but i win. Create a Mersia kingdom,buy 4 clan. Desporion,and battanian. But vlandia and north empire start war every save. They have 15-17 city's a north have same castles. I stop play old match with 30 clan inside my kingdom, because diplomacy don't work. Random declare war, and truce work so short,maybe 1 month.

How come my forest bandits won't level up into fians anymore? I had about 20 champions but now my 15 forest bandits refuse to level up (ps5)
Do you have the perk?
@TheCriticallyClueless I don't think so but I had no problem upgrading them before. Will try it, thank you 😀 (edit) I think I just realised I was upgrading them from regular troops before and the upgrade paths confused me.
Another tip: Vlandian cav... just Vlandian cav.

Alea was getting marriage requests till the day she died. My girl has incredible engineering.
And from old match,i have a grandson from my Dayenerys,some one play so long? 30 clan at my kingdom,but peace its unfair sh1t ,i stop war with vlandia,go to aserai,win,but vlandia again declare war,how much time a truce,1 game month? They should ad a 1 year truce. U can't recruit people, because again war, with same country's

I used different playthroughs for the clips for this video, one was around 700 one was around 2300 🖖
Your brother is the best surgeon in the game. He literally raises the dead for your army 😅

Can anyone help at all? I’ve just started bannerlord for the first time today and I currently have no money whatsoever, after paying a few recruits. Now they’re dead aaand I’m completely lost. I literally don’t know what to do, I tried doing quests but I can’t do them as I lack troops and gold. I can’t buy anything to sell, I can’t kill looters as I’m outnumbered and I can’t seem to win tournaments as the opponents are head to toe in armour. Seriously considering putting the game down as I’m stuck. Any ideas?

Start over, I ran a few different play throughs just to figure out the best methods for leveling and my current game I’ve finally got everything right

Smithing is so broken .. who on earth is buying all these 40K two handed swords? Breaks the emersion for me. You missed talking about being a mercenary, this is great strategy as you can earn money/loot and high tier troops, you can also keep switching sides so you can defeat lords and let them go, after a while you have built up friendships with many lords across every faction so when it come to making you own kingdom it makes it easier to recruit powerful lords into your faction as they like you.
Oh yes I love being a Merc. I let everyone go. Increases Charm too.
