First off, great audio quality with the new mic, Chris! In regard to #3, do men 'want' to be celebrated? I'm still (and probably forever) a manchild, and I don't want to be celebrated. Nope, I'm just some dude. Give the ladies their flowers (literally and figuratively).
Oh yeah, I'll also add, I was awake for a full 20 minutes today thinking it was Sunday, which would mean I have to work. Then I happened to log into CZcams and saw this video, which reminded me it's Saturday, not Sunday... and I rejoiced that I have the day off.
California Linda and Jeff say thanks for a fun Saturday morning coffee break. Enjoy your weekend and the upcoming holiday. 🇨🇱🇺🇸🧨
Said it before...say it again !! I look forward to Saturday feature...and of course all the other content !!
California Linda shares in CC groups that I have joined have a designated individual to contact guest services via email or phone to check for the availability of a meeting place and time for the Meet-n-Greet. If one is unavailable, we arrange in the post to meet elsewhere in a location that is usually not used in the morning for cruise activities. The Meet-n-Greet is important for those who have been active in the group. Our CC cruisers also sign up to arrange activities, ice breakers and snacks. WRT the other issue, the library generally has a binder available where you can check to see who has a shared interest and you make individual contacts. There may also be a standing easel poster board to post messages for your scheduled event or interest in an upcoming activity. Sorry, but a failure to plan is a plan for failure. 😥
I was on the Pride on Father's Day. Carnival had a "DAD" ice sculpture and later a CAKE. By the way the cake was great. It was more than enough for me!
We love The Pride and its sister ship (Legend). Did you see Jessie at The Alchemy Bar? Super nice guy!
@@AlienFrequency My wife and I do not drink alcoholic beverages, so we have not conversed with him.
@@davidhoffman8122 right on!
Would this have bothered you Chris?
Thanks for another amusing Saturday 😂
Thanks again for another show. Now my day can resume. 😀 As always, you are spot on with your thoughts. Take care until next week.
Hey Chris and Tiffany, Thank you another good show, You are right all cruise lines will set up a place for a group to meet but there is a fee and I believe you have to give the like a30 to 60 day notice. Now NCL offers a solo and single meet on their ships that they provide not sure if any others do it.
Not really a flower person. A beer might work though. LOL
Wait a minute - if any groups hold a meeting on land, don’t they pay to use the venue and also for the catering? No different, stop feeling so entitled!
we are on coral princess world cruise we have rotary get toghehers. service people get togethers teacher get togethers new zealand meet and greet fellow travelers. we just ask and they provide a space and put up an a sign
I am betting they got a cheaper room or a free room. And they didn’t talk about that. 🤷♂️ come on people 😂
The problem is that Cruise lines before Covid and cutbacks usually supported Cruise Critic gatherings onboard, but times have changed, and you know how we are with changes? LOL
A lot of people just like to complain about everything.
So "DH & I" are big complainers.
70 people out of 1000s onboard the ship and this entitled cruiser wants there event listed in the fun times, wow people just gobsmack me lol
1. If ya have a group that large why don't you contact Carnival and see IF some kind of complementary meet space can be had don't just assume it will be done.
2. It's not Carnival's responsibility to create group activities for every type of Group boarding their ship. ( I'm assuming that diversity comment was a swipe about a couple of group events that Carnival does have on their ships) However I would say..get over it.
3. Dad's have always had less fanfare on fathers Day than Mom's on Mother's Day. I don't need a flower or even a cake. I'm sure most fathers agree.
Cruise lines are not our fathers mmmmmm
