Barbie is always witty and magaling sumagot sa mga tanong. It shows talaga, sa sobrang daldal nya at yung pa sigaw and high five nya kay Maris, di mo talaga makita na may awkwardness and ilangan. Her energy is always above the roof. Sobrang ganda ng personality.

BarDa does star-crossed lovers really well. From Maria Clara and Ibarra na galing sila sa magkaibang panahon, sa Maging Sino Ka Man, anak-mayaman si Barbie doon, tapos mahirap 'yung role ni David, tapos ngayon, sa Pulang Araw, Japanese si David and Filipino si Barbie during WWII.
What I love about them is that they made old-fashioned romance good again--wholesome longing and hopeful love--they portray these kinds of stories really well!
I'm so grateful that they were given scripts and worked with directors that brought out their chemistry together!
I also appreciate David's efforts to get in character--I completely forgot that he's a shy, introverted guy from a wealthy background n'ung siya si Carding sa Maging Sino Ka Man. And I'm super thankful that Barbie knows how to play off the energy that he gives. And now, David is playing a Japanese guy! The painstaking effort to learn Nihonggo, and for Barbie to learn tap dancing! Please, please, appreciate Pulang Araw. Kitang kita naman po sa trailer pa lang na pinaghandaan at pinag-hirapan, kaya sana po panoorin niyo rin!
