Don't just judge him on goal stats (which is the first port of call, when researching the worth of a player) that you've included from his teen years. In regards Salah, he's on huge wages, there has been a clear decline in his performances and we would need to sell him in order to facilitate future purchases. Of course, there is always financial fairplay laws to be adhered to.

The pace on the counter would be unreal. Also so many options, Gakpo, Jota, Szobo, Elliott, Mac, Carvalho could all fit into atleast on of those positions & thatâs without even dipping into the younger academy lads like Koumas, Danns etc

Extra games with new CL format & players coming off a long season mean will need rotation to stay fresh.

For example lots of teams sit back in a deep block against Liverpool which means our fast attackers canât get in behind & it negates their strengths. Against such teams we could play:

He should have been sold given that Liverpool donât like to spend. Could have used the money to replace and pay the wage of a new player, plus have money left to add to the transfer budget. Liverpool will sadly be stagnant and slowly decline. Salah is one of the most overrated player ever. With a better more clinical winger, I think Liverpool would have had 1-2 more prem titles and another ucl. Everytime it comes to an important stretch, he rarely delivers, but simple minded fans will always point to goal contributions, just like they do for Darwin, with very little context.
