Iâm glad you reviewed this deck. I just bought it on sale from Urban and I saw the bad reviews and i was iffy but I like the celebrity concept cuz iâm a pop culture fanatic. I was actually surprised at how much I kinda liked it. Seeing an icon like Laverne Cox while also someone like Sigmund Freud was an interesting mix that I found funny and unbiased and thatâs what I hope for in oracle decks. Iâm a very satirical person and I agree the messages are weird, the art is beautiful the selection of people is incredibly random but intuitively, itâs kind of fun to use. Defintley not for real, paying clients (unless they want it) but for a drunk night with your friends, iâll mix it in with my tarot and angel oracles and take the actual âwords of adviceâ with a grain of salt and have a laugh.

I just got this deck off Uncommon Goods because I bought the "Music Oracles" deck there and loved that one so much. This one was marked down on clearance and I thought I got lucky...lol. I think they all come with that weird bend - I've just seen the Amazon reviews and they almost all complain about it too. The art was beautiful, but the messages the publishing company who wrote the actual text are sending (the Princess Diana/Mata Hari cards were honestly gross) were questionable af, at best. When I saw Melania, Lena Dunham, and f*kin Edward VIII and Wallis in the background (both literal Nazi-sympathizers), I immediately began to regret getting these cards.
I was wanting to check out the Music Oracles but after this deck I decided to wait on it. I'm glad I am not alone with the feelings this deck gave me.
@@WickedMoonlight1 yes! The Music Oracles deck's messages were downright sincerely wholesome compared to this one, and the art really captured each musician so beautifully. I don't know, I get that other people might resonate with the Love one, but I felt no love going through those cards đ (though I did feel somewhat better after weeding out the ones that made me feel super uncomfortable lol)
@@inspirefolie You better not be a democrat if you are against nazi sympathizers. Go pull out some history books and be horrified by the tactics the democrat party is engaging in that falls right in line with the nazi party playbook. I took AP European history in HS and then history classes in college and when 2015 came rolling around I was sick to my stomach with what I saw the democrats were engaging in- demonizing people based on their skin color- SICK! Rewriting definitions to excuse some groups from being racist- SICK! Censoring people who don't agree with them, calling anybody a racist and a bigot just because they don't agree with you- SICK! I unenrolled from the democratic party. They grew to embrace and personify everything disgusting in the human race.
Thank you for the honest review. Coincidentally, I was looking for a review of this deck earlier today but didn't find any on CZcams. Glad I subscribed :)
Thank you so much! I wanted to really give it a fair shake, but my gut just wasn't feeling it. I'm glad to have helped.
I would love to see it in a pick card reading just to see what crazy info comes out. The cards are beautiful.
Yeah some cards rub me the wrong way, but that's not going to stop me from purchasing the deck and using the card and reading them INTUITIVELY. So yeah.
There you go. Whatever works for you!
exactly. that's what i'm gonna do as well.
Maybe it shows, what is working subconcious within our heads, our secretly convincements. I like it !
I had to do a double take when I saw Sigmund Freud. This is just... Bad.
Right? Ok so I'm glad it's not just me who feels this way.
This deck was all over the place and I feel like whoever made it didnât do their research. Mata Hari was incredibly sad. I wouldnât consider that a âloveâ card. Especially considering her âloverâ denied her at her own trial. But, I digress, I just donât feel like this deck is what Iâd want for a love reading. đđđ
That was my thought process. Interesting concept, but I felt it failed at the delivery.
I bought this purely for the illustration style and trimmed them into borderless, squareish cards, threw out some cards I didn't like but still kept some of the negative ones -- not all relationships end well or have positive circumstances so I think some of the more controversial ones work well. Next thing I want to do is cover the backs with self adhesive vinyl so they can be a bit more universal, and read up a bit more on the history of each of the people. Mata Hari for instance - could speak to being manipulated / gaslit into doing something for love, or reinventing yourself, or being desired vs objectification or a fantasy. Great potential, poor execution (pun not intended)...
Agreed
I think itâs a true novelty, and not for serious reads. Maybe for a fun cards if the day?! đ€·đ»ââïž Iâll admit, they said, Diana, Princess of whales and didnât call her Princess Diana, Iâm a real stickler about that, she is my forever love lol! â€ïž thank you for the review! I may or may not buy it!
I agree with you! Yes, completely novelty in my opinion. It is kind of fun to play around with, but some cards really did rub me the wrong way. đ€·ââïžâ€
i think the stereotype is meant to be that way because when we read the cards we can have an overview of what we are seeing.... Now these are just cards. It is not so much about the characters in the deck as much as it is about the person whose energies are being read. The stereotype will be helpful for readings in my case. Thanks for reviewing this deck!
Yeah after watching the first video my previous reading started to make spiritual sense. I can see beyond the card although the card also tells a story
god before you even opened the box i was like - NO! I don't like this deck. Haha it's chaos - totally rubbed me the wrong way too. Thank you for doing this video :)
Also, what decks do you like to use for love and relationship questions for clients.
Ive been curious about this one. thanks for sharing your thoughts on it.
You're so welcome!
I think the intention for this deck is different... reason why I wasn't initially interested in purchasing it. But now after watching a few reviews and having a new mindset/approach and intention for the deck, I'm going to purchase it! I love the backings and I hope there's a fresh print of decks!đđ€
You're probably right. I dont think it's horrible, I just didnt connect to it. But some of the cards are fun. Enjoy! â€
@@WickedMoonlight1 Thank you! I think this deck is for fun. And once you learn to have fun with it, you'll get it!đ
Enjoy đ âš đ
Update! I purchased the deck and My copy came slightly bent as well. But I love the packaging and I look forward to using these cards!! đđ
Wow...đł
Right there with you, Natasha!
How did you get it for 6.99? If you don't mind me asking.
Amazon had it on some sale so I just snatched it up
Wicked Moonlight oh thank you!!!
Totally agree !!! Thank you đ
Youre very welcome
I think it is meant to be a humorous deck - which can be hit-or-miss as everyone's sense of humour is different. I think it might work better if you trim it down to the names and artwork and use it to read intuitively (like an archetype deck so to speak). There is great diversity and these personalities lend themselves to interesting messages. Probably not the best deck to read for clients, but if you don't restrict yourself to use the key phrases, I think it has some potential. Thank you for the review! :)
Spot on. Got this from a second hand shop.
Would have been more helpful if you had read the quotes !!!
Well hello there now you have a new subscriber I just brought this deck but I haven't used the deck yet at all I've looked thru them but now I wish I didn't đ and I paid $16.99 for this deck off Amazon this sucks đ©đ©đ©
Welcome! Yes, this deck is interesting... Can you return it if you aren't happy with it?
@@WickedMoonlight1 I'm not too sure I'ma gonna contact Amazon and see if I can return these cards I haven't used them
Is this one of those fake, rip-off decks from China? Hmmm...no thanks.
Hum...is all relationships people have good? So people might not be going through those things?....hum. well it's your opinion đ You didn't read the cards. Price has nothing to do with a good deck. At least I was able to see the artwork kind of.
She did read the cards, though. For example, she mentioned that the advice given on the card for Princess Diana rubbed her the wrong way. I just got the deck, and while I agree with you totally that price has nothing to do with a good deck, the vibes I got off this deck once I had it made me wish I hadn't spent the clearance price on it đ
@@inspirefolie shit now I wish I didn't buy it either I took the wrapper off it uhhhđ©đ©
