- Welcome to my TTM Monday autograph recap video. Last week, the week of 6-23-24, I received 47 autographs from 14 people, including two NFL Hall of Famers. Also, I completed player runs of football players Dave Foley, Ken Ellis, and Larry Hand. All addresses were found on SCN or SCF.
In addition, my TTM Monday videos, I upload an autograph and/or trading card video on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
That’s a great batch of returns! Congrats on the player run finishes! The Tony Dorsett autographs were my favorite. Thanks for sharing.
I was pretty relieved to get the Tony Dorsett cards back. It’s been fun to try to knock out as many player runs as possible before The National.
Great returns!
Love the Tony Dorsett cards! I've been holding off sending his rookie, because he seemingly personalizes about 50% of his returns. You were one of the fortunate sons.
I’ve had more problems with not getting a card back from him as opposed to the personalization. Everybody is affected by him differently.
Great returns! Love the vintage football.
You will like my video next week as well. I’ve had quite a few vintage football cards come back already this week.
Nice week of returns. The Tony Dorsett and Ken Ellis were my favorites. Awesome that you finished some more player runs. Take care.
I’m really trying to knock out some player runs before The National.
Great video and super returns. The Tony Dorsett and Chuck Fusina were my favorite of the returns. Great USFL card for Chuck to sign. Congrats on the great returns and thanks for sharing.
I think I found that Fusina card in a random box at a flea market. I’m glad to get it signed. It’s always good to get Tony Dorsett.
Awesome returns and content.
Thank you as always. I appreciate it.
Awesome returns as always! I think the USFL cards are really cool. I also liked the vintage baseball, especially the Red Sox!
You probably told me that you were a fan of the Red Sox, but I temporarily forgot. It was neat to send out a USFL card.
Love the Dave Morehead signatures. The 63 Looks great. Cool you completed the Ellis and Hand runs. Sometimes the index signatures look great. Enjoyed and thanks for sharing with us steven.
I’m intentionally trying to knock out a lot of player runs this summer. Those index cards can look amazing.
Great returns. Congrats on completing the player runs! Love the Hanburgers. Happy 4th!
Great haul math ! Glad Tony D can still sign. Love the Larry Hand cards, I always liked his early Lions cards. C ya !
Those vintage cards have such a nice look to them. I’m happy to get Tony Dorsett since he’s a local guy.
What a amazing haul Math congrats thanks for sharing 😲
Thank you. My summer numbers should be really strong. I tend to send out quite a bit during the summer.
Great completed runs and vintage everything
@@goodyg I am having a really good week this week with completing more player runs. It’s definitely a side project for me.
Nice returns here! Love the Herm Edwards return! I need to send cards to Him!
Go for it! It did not take long to get him back.
Love that Ken Ellis card depicting him in his blue Pro Bowl jersey. Those cards were issued by this insurance agency called Preferred Risk Group. They are still around, I think, and were founded on sound Christian life principles. There are usually really nice personal testimonies on the backs of those cards. I have a few in my collection.
That’s really nice when some of the players will sign and include a religious testimonial card.
Chuck Fusina a nice guy ,met him before
That’s good to know. I always hope the local guys are nice.
Other than Dorsett I really like the Ron Bull as my favorite. Was lucky enough to complete Nye's Rookie and sent to Metzger because I had a Venezuela Winter League card.
That’s really cool! When you send out so many request, you have to find unique things to do.
What does everybody want? MOREHEAD! I sent to tony Dorsett a week or two ago
Haha well done with the Al Snow reference. He was so incredibly over in ECW. I hope Dorsett comes back for you.
Like completing a player run . Grats . Hands down my favorite 😂 pun intended
@@adamscardcloset9020 Nicely done haha. I’m actually trying to complete a nice batch of player runs this summer. I’ve knocked out four player runs this week already.
TD!! Well worth 10 bucks each! I got his auto on an elevator at the Marriott in Pittsburgh yrs ago and its the only time i ever got a HOFers auto when he was intoxicated lol! AND, he asked me if i had a cigarette 😆
That is one of the greatest stories I have heard! Oh my gosh that’s wonderful.
@@mathbowler2782 true story. It was 2003 and I was there for the Steelers-Arizona game. The night before that game Pitt is playing VT and TD was being honored at halftime. He as well as the VT team and their families were also staying at the Marriott. After the game he and a bunch of VT players parents were in the hotel bar, as was I, and they were buying him one drink after another. When I saw him leave to go to his room I did as well so i could get something signed so it wasn't happenstance that I ended up on the elevator with him lol. He was VERY intoxicated! Also got a pic with him earlier in the day while we were checking in. He was very accommodating!
@@steelersgamer3699 Your strategy was pretty solid. That’s so cool though.
Happy Bobby Bonilla Day!
When he threatened to beat up a Ny Baseball Writer,he said "As the boys say,I'm just Chillin
Received 1.19 million from the Mets every July 1 through 2035! But I guess he still needs more money, because he charges to do private signings
I guess the Mets like this publicity because Steve Cohen can just pay him off today,if he wanted to and get it over with!
Nice MLB/NFL Vintage
Herm Edwards as player&Miracle at the Meadowlands in 1978
As NYJ Head Coach-Famous Tirade
"Hello, you play to win the game"
One more thing, your Pirates did the right thing of not retaining 2 prima Donna players in Bonilla and Bonds after the 91and 92 seasons respectively
They weren't going to win anything with them on the team,anyway-no offense
Great Content as always
You have a great memory for quotes, and I’m rather jealous. Thank you for sharing that with me. I am not a very Barry Bonds fan. I know a lot of people around the Pittsburgh area like him, but I am not one of those people.
For quite a while Tony Dorsett was not doing well health wise . Has seemed to look much better in recent yrs
I forget which show I saw him at, but he looked decent. I hope he’s rebounding.
I got a "bowler" Saturday. i think I wrote Nolan 15 years ago. Have Metzger, but would like to get 72, 75 and one other signed.
Moore seems to be a solid signer at the moment. I need to send out some bowler requests. It’s been a while.
The Dorsett’s looked great. Interesting pen choice by Nye.
What set do you have the most autographs of?
Honestly, I don’t know which set has the most autographs in my collection. As a kid, I really liked the 1989 Topps baseball set, but I don’t intentionally send out requests just to get autographs on that set. In general, I like sending out baseball cards from the 60s and 70s.
I heard you mention the other day that Bob Didier doesn’t sign through the mail anymore. I wanted to let you know that I sent out a card to him about 3 weeks ago and I got it back signed a couple of days ago along with the index card signed.
Thank you so much for letting me know! I’m going to look into that right away.
I just got a Cliff Harris 78 Topps back signed. So, you could probably get that Cowboys checklist signed by Harris as well.
@@DennisWDobbins You’re right. Unfortunately, I have this quirky mindset that I don’t want to get two or three autographs on a four player card. It’s either one of them or all four of them.
@@mathbowler2782 Yeah. I'm the same way. If I can't get all the players on a multi-player card to sign, I won't bother.
Ron Bull.was chicago not Philadelphia lol
Great returns!!! I'll always go for the 1969s as the favorite, Gary Nolan and Rich Nye. (Baby, Imma Want You.....)
I can’t remember exactly what years, but in the 1960s there were card sets called Philadelphia. It was just like Topps had its own sets.
@@badgerz3804 You cannot go wrong with those cards from the 1969 set. I’m trying to figure out that line in your parentheses.
@mathbowler2782 you said something about singing Bread songs
@@badgerz3804 Haha nice!
