The Eminence In Shadow is one of the few anime out there that managed to perfectly balance both comedy with a serious story

Man, imagine loving your job so much that you manage to make a final chapter that's pretty much 90% filler, and still being a banger. Easily on my top this year.
Also, it's so cringey sometimes that it loops all the way around to be epic, it's just insane.
The funnest part in my mind is that the M.C. thinks its just a game and all of the wisdom he drops to the girls is B.S. he makes up to string them along

The fact the animation studio clearly took the time to look into the original Light Novels certainly helps.
What really gets me about how invincible he seems is that he can both go nuclear and revive himself if his heart stops, absolutely insane.

This fight was great and the best thing was it showed how out of his league Iris is. Even weilding sword like that, she seemed to get in Beatrix's way than anything else.
