The room in the beginning of the trailer used to be in game along time ago! They cut it out and put it behind non accessible doors or walls. definatly was an eerie thing to step into!

AS a person who always wanted to become law enforcment or swat when the turn 18 or 20 RON has a spot in my heart and i love it... ready or not will never get old.
As a current LEO this game speaks to me as well! The fact that they are also stressing that the officers mental well being needs to be evaluated before a callout is amazing and a cool feature!

Well think about it, there is perma death for team mates in the campaign so it makes sense if their "incapacitated" you would drag them to a safe place so they can recover after the mission
I just hope they add like 6-10 new maps for the release. I’ve been playing since alpha and got kinda old playing the same maps over and over again. Still excited to see that campaign.
from what we saw in the dev blogs. on the map it seems there is 12 new maps on the new ready screen :)

Tbh I've never seen a suspect grab a hostage in a mission, but it's probably because I don't usually play Raid
the green ribbon the man at the end has on his sweater signifies that he is more likely a therapist. Green Ribbons are used to symbolize mental wellness, and if Judge's experiences provides any insight, he has a lot on his mind that's been burdening him.

The malfunction and body dragging are cinematics only. They won't be included as mechanics. Just want to temper people's expectation a little bit
I'd be careful reading into too many new features like jams based on this trailer, for example Gruntr has confirmed on reddit no downed officer drag/revive system, it was just for cinematics. The hostage situation can however occur in game since ADAM, but very rare; I've only seen it once. The guy at the end is likely a therapist, alluding to the in game officer stress/PTSD mechanic in the campaign mode. Will be interesting if in game there will be an actual therpist though, or just a screen with numbers/bars. Looking forward to the release, tring to keep expectations in check to avoid disappoinment. Keep up the good work!

This trailer has me as excited for the game, as the day they announced the ready or not in that seedy little alleyway.
I have to admit, maybe it is the fact that I'm a cynical Englishman, I don't like their trailers at all! But I absolutely Love their game - can't wait!

Several things I wanted to point out, firstly the "hostage situation" thing where the enemy is actively being held hostage with a gun to the head, is already in the game. It just doesn't happen very often but I've came across it only several times in the 700 hours I've played. The other thing is I think it's a bit of a glitch on the development end of this trailer, but when he encounters a malfunction on his AR and he tap racks it, on my second viewing of the trailer (even slowed it down frame for frame) I saw the casing actually come from the left side before falling out the right side where the ejection port is. I'd like to think it was probably a minor error where the casing clipped through the AR, and not that this gun has 2 ejection ports lol.
I'd assume the final scene with the therapist is a representation of the mental stability mechanic in the campaign. As others have pointed out, the ribbon on the man implies that he's a mental health counsellor.
I made a video with a VERY similar thumbnail and on the same subject, if you see that on your YT feed and that you think I copied his video cuz I did a similar one 1 day later, I swear it's a coincidence. I did not steal or copy anyone's work, I just discovered that @deliberationroom did this vid (great video btw).
