It's still DEFINITELY worth having if you go to Starbucks even on occasion, but just be sure to read up on it before you use it. During the pandemic, we aren't allowed to accept personal cups. Our store will still give the discount for the effort (and most stores probably will), but until further notice, we can't touch them. A lot of Starbucks are drive thru only, so it will be very difficult to do the "make your own latte" trick. Also, our cafe only keeps half and half on the condiment bar, and a barista likely won't fill you up with milk at bar. But know that while it's not illegal to do, baristas REALLY frown upon it. Also, right now during the pandemic, we don't keep milk at the condiment bar. You HAVE to ask your barista for condiments. Also, the coaster trick was really cool. I love Starbucks and i support my local baristas with smiles and tips! I love Starbucks's friendly policies! I see people take advantage of their generosity all the time. But I think it more than evens out, in the end, for Starbucks' favor, because of how they treat you, compared to how most places treat you- as a human, above their numbers- is why I find myself going there more than anywhere else... And spending a lot more- than usual- too! They definitely captured people's hearts and minds- including my own- by killing us with kindness! I respect your hard work for us, grinders! If you like the White Chocolate Mocha, just get regular coffee, milk and have them add 3-4 pumps of WCM.. it tastes the same and it’s cheaper AND less calories

For a coffee there might be 25% more expensive then a cheaper chain but if you take a refill then it effectively cuts the price in half or by more than a third on handcrafted drinks... This is one of the many ways Starbucks distinguishes itself from the pack... By offering their customers more than what they bargained for... Enjoy!
If you bring your own tumbler/cup/mug, you will save 10 cents. But do not add any syrups. Because, then you won’t be saving money and will be paying the same if you adding syrup to the drink.
no, it is not the same size. if its a iced drink, a tall (small) is 12 oz, a venti (large) is 26 oz. (and a trenta is 30oz) if its a hot drink, a tall is 12oz and a venti is 20 oz.
Too bad some of your tips can't be done during covid, such as the bring your own cup or any that require you to stay in the restaurant fora free or cheap refill.
It’s all depends on your taste Starbucks gets access to the highest quality beans on the market because they are the largest coffee bean buyer in the world so you are required to pay that premium for a good reason also McDonald’s uses tap water to make their iced coffees meanwhile Starbucks water is filtered it all depends on preference though McDonald’s is okay but in the recent years I stopped going to McDonald’s because the employees that are being hired at my local store are terrible even the managers but I don’t pay for coffee anyway since I work for Starbucks
