Bellew needs to put the pom poms down when talking about Joshua. Nobody wants to listen to a heavily biased view. The "learning on the job" line is long spent.

I did try to listen to Bellew because this channel has been great so far but the constant Matchroom bias clouds every boxing thought he has sadly

This is a quality boxing discussion, it does my head in when you get these people lagging these lads off. Both ex world champions what more can you do? I respect these 2 massively, Froch has a funny sense of humour many don't get & it rubs them up the wrong way. Tony Bellew wears his heart on his sleave. I love it when Froch is on with George Groves also.

Delve into the sport a bit deeper my friend, you will find there are a lot better boxers than these two, with much better personality's. In the grand scheme of things these two are just average in the sport of boxing. But each to their own 👍

Love tuning in for Bellew believe you me you're going to get a completely unbiased straight up honest opinion on anything related to AJ and Matchroom.
Truth is very few people enjoy Tony's commentary and analysis,It's his out and out loyalty for Eddie bleeds through to his work on the night even if he can't see it, Rather than have people call the action who we want to see we get the matchroom boys club and nobodys interested,Big Dave price should be the Scouser on comms for example but he'd call it for what it is.
100%. If my regional knowledge serves me correctly, many of Tony’s fellow Liverpudlians would actually describe him, and please do forgive my use of potty language, as a gobshite.

Everyone can see AJ isn't the figher he once was. He is afraid to let's his hands go in fear of getting hurt. It must be difficult for him to deal with.

God, it doesn’t mean you’re going to get yourself ko’d just because you try and get a guy out of there? AJ has the big guns to do it to anyone but he hardly ever uses them anymore and that’s bad, because he IS a massive puncher and that’s a huge weapon in his make up as a fighter that he isn’t using.
AJ was overhyped from the beginning. Handed world titles on a plate and spent years fighting absolute dustbins. As soon as he tried to step it up he got exposed and everybody knows the fat Mexican didn’t even train for the rematch when dosser AJ beat him. I just think it’s funny that so many people fell for it and actually thought AJ was a top boxer lol

All well and good for Bellew to say 'if Wilder comes at him AJ will have to swing and he will', but he is just as likely to crumble in a heap as soon as Wilder goes at him. I think it will be similar to Tyson vs Bruno 2 tbh - with AJ walking to the ring terrified.

At least AJ's never backed down or ducked a fight unlike a VERY overrated so called champion who now wants to take on a guy whose never boxed before, and can only insult real champions such as the likes of Usyk and Joshua, including ex champs like Froch and Bellew. Nobody ever knocked out Ali. Yes he was retired against Holmes when he was actually fighting while ill. Even a peak young Foreman couldn’t knock Ali out. Good call Tony.

Eubank Jr adapted his game perfectly after a devastating loss, cautious yet busy and still taking his opportunities to hurt his opponent. AJ needs to show more intent that is obvious, agree with Froch.
Smith was a stiff in that fight. There to be hit, threw nothing back. Eubank Jr's next fight will determine how he's recovered. It must be a top level opponent
@@user-fw5tr8ht1e True, the proof for Eubank will be what happens next, this fight will give him huge confidence though and is a solid template for success. Compare that to AJ in the Ruiz rematch, he had no intention of engaging, that is not good enough against the very top level guys.

Class interview. Carl on top form. Bellew too. But although his loyalty to AJ (matchroom/dazn/his job) is admirable. Its very transparent. Props to The Cobra for saying AJ is gun shy and hasn't shown anything in the last few fights to suggest he has a chance against Wilder. As for Fury. Don't even go there.
