Cats are so cute when they are busy chasing their tails, dry leaves or shadows.😂
They are! She's been doing that since she was a kitten and it makes me smile that she still does it.
Wowsa lots of awesome yarns!! Thanks to Mr Pajamas for the pics and the detailed stats on the screen! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend❤
I'll pass on your appreciation to him when he takes a break from his home office to come downstairs. Thanks, Teresa! We had a great weekend, thank you. I wound Tangled Poets mini onto yarn bobbins most of Sunday and in the evening we binge watched some Korean dramas episodes while doing so. First cardigan, here I come! I'm super excited! I hope you have a wonderful week!
@@LlamasInPajamas13 Thanks, hopw you all have a great week too! That's awesome, yay first cardigan! I am knitting my first one now. I put it down for a few months but just picked it back up this weekend. It for my husband, so I just hope it fits! 😃
Jude, those were some lovely mystery bags (even though you got multiple colors of the same yarns in the different bags)... And its always such a pleasure to see both you and Mr Pajamas together, you guys are indeed a pair made in heaven 😘🤗! I hope your back pain goes away soon... Love you loads...
Hi Anvita! It's always fun to see what you get in Aberdeen mystery bags. I like that they are a little different, not exactly the same for every bag. I agree with you about Mr. PJ's. He's definitely 'my person' and I am so lucky to share my life with him. My back pain doesn't ever really go away, unfortunately. It's always there, but it does get more intense at times. We were sitting up in the yarn room for a good amount of hours and that chair had less support than the sofa in the living room. I have a lot of spinal issues from various things. Most of my joints, actually. Physically, it feels as if my body is twenty years older than my actual age with all of the joint damage and my collection of medical issues. I may have a smaller life than I used to have, but I still feel fulfilled and happy that I have interests I can take part in despite those issues, so I am joyful. Much love!
Awesome mystery bags! Great colors and variety. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Susan! Aberdeen's mystery bags are so fun to open. Right up there with the Mill Ends because you know they are not the same and you never know what yarns/colors you'll find. My third favorite mystery bag is Dot's Yarn Den with their Scheepjes mystery bags. Again, you never know what lines or colors so it's fun.
Hi Jude and Mr. Pajamas! You guys are a great team! You received some beautiful mystery yarn! I really enjoyed seeing all that you got. Cats are awesome and Charlotte is a perfect example…gotta love the antics and self entertaining ❤. Have a great week!
Thanks, Laurie! We joked that we are two halves of a perfectly put together person since our strengths and weaknesses are opposites. I think that's diminished a lot on my end, since my physical issues worsened and I can't do as much in those areas, so now we combine into a 'getting by with shear luck seventy year old'. LOL That cutie girl, Charlotte...she used to chase her tail so often as a kitten and it makes me happy to still catch her doing it once in a while. We're just about to head upstairs to film the overdue WIP FO and hopefully we'll get in the last of the box mountain and not be too late to getting dinner. I'll be super happy if we can get WIP FO done, our latest mail arrivals, and the Inkari finally unboxed. I'm winding Tangled Poets minis to get a start on my first cardigan! So excited! Much love!
Always fun to see you two together! Beautiful yarns, I hope you are able to make some fun items! Have a great day!🩵
Thank you, Deborah! The yarn that stands out the most for a project is the purple and gray alpaca yarn. I don't remember how much we ended up with, but we're collecting it into a single box. I have 8 more bags coming and I'm crossing my fingers fora few more hanks of that alpaca.
I spent Sunday evening binge watching Korean dramas with Mr. PJ's and winding the Tangled Poets minis onto yarn bobbins to start a cardigan for the first time. I had a wonderful day. I hope you have a great week!
Love u two, you are so enjoyable to watch!! Very nice mystery bags.😊
That is so sweet of you Jeanette, I'm so glad you enjoy watching us! Aberdeen's is one of the more fun mystery bags to open. It's always fun when they are different each time.
Very nice yarns. I love the rust color yarn. You guys are so cute together ❤❤
Hi Christena! Aww, that is so lovely of you to say. Thank you!
You got some nice yarns and enough of the same to make something. Awesome! Awe silly kitty 😺
I did make out pretty well. Charlotte is such a cutie girl.
You got some awesome bags. That Folio is so SOFT❤ I love the copper colored yarn also. One of my favorite colors ❤ Love seeing you guys. You make me smile🙂 love ya❤
Aberdeen's bags are so addictive! Right, that Folio is gorgeous. Copper and Teal go so well together. I'm so happy that we can make you smile, Dee. Thank you so much for saying that. Much love!
Hi Jude! Hi Mr. Pajamas! Oh what fun! I love that grey/blue yarns, very pretty! Wow, all the Wendy wools, mohair, and sock yarn 😄 That purple/magenta is pretty too. Oh yes! Make Bridget some pink flowers 😍 I've used the Berroco comfort the year before last at Christmas. It's so soft, but a little splitty. Yes, I want to see that purple and grey alpaca made into something 💙 Magic ✨ 😄 That was a lot of animal fibers; it's good your are not allergic 😂 I can't wait to see what you are going to make! 💙
Yep, that's the nice or not so nice thing if you have an allergy to wool about Aberdeen's bags. Lots of wool. That purple and gray alpaca is so gorgeous. I look forward to finding a project for it. Tseena is trying to steal it from me though... She's naughty. Right now, we're just collecting it all into one box, so I have no idea where it's going or what's happening. As we work on the yarn room to get it back into an organized shape, I'll have a box of stuff to make decisions about.
All kinds of good stuffs 💜
Hi Denise! Right? Gotta love an Aberdeen's mystery bag. Or Alberdeen, if you're so inclined. LOL. What is wrong with me? LOL
Beautiful yarn! ❤️🧶
Thanks, Kristin!
Hi jude how are you doing today iam doing fine today your yarns are very beautiful colors thanks for sharing stay safe ❤❤
Thanks so much. I'm doing well, thank you. I trust that you are well too. Take care!
It’s nice seeing all your beautiful yarn. Makes me want to get an Aberdeen Wool Mystery Box! 😊
Hi Connie! If you do, look for them to go on sale and try to remember to choose knit. They go on sale a few times a year. I think they are one of the best and most fun mystery bags. My next two favorites are the Herrshner's mill ends, and third would probably be the mystery bags from Dot's Yarn Den, but I'm also a fan of Scheepjes yarn and love getting the random color Whirl cake in every large bag. I love a fingering weight yarn, so of course, if that is not a favorite weight for you, you'd probably not enjoy their mystery bags. I hope you do get in on the Aberdeen fun and I wish you luck to get fantastic yarn!
Hi, Jude and Mr. Pajamas 😊 What fun to open up mystery bags ~ beautiful yarns 🧶 Thank you for sharing 💜
Thank you, Christine!
Hey, guys! Loving seeing you more often on the 'Tube! ❤ Oooo, that brown sock wool! 😍 The red Berroco vintage - wow! I had no idea that Berroco had so many varieties! What fun to open such lovely bags! So many cool things for you to try! 👏👏👏 Hugs for Charlotte! 😄❤😽
Two a week is a struggle but we're trying to keep up. Hopefully I'll be able to not be too awkward with trying out the chat and craft style of video I'm going to try soon. That will help take some pressure off of him for the two edited videos a week. The Berroco vintage is a nice. I just used one of the blue and gray hanks to make Mr. PJ's some hats. He doesn't have the same temperature issues that I have, but still, I like that it's half wool, so it does cut down the non breathable acrylic a bit but still retains the easier to wash properties, so that's nice. Perfect for a hat. The purple and gray alpaca and the folio... wowsers. Love it. Charlotte used to chase her tail all the time as a kitten and it's so cute that she still does it once in a while . Love you!
@@LlamasInPajamas13 It's just always lovely to see you guys, but I do get the stress of putting out regular content. ❤ Whatever you put out there, we'll be here waiting to hang out! 😊 Hugs and love! ❤🤟🏻
Hello jude and Mr.pajamas. u got some amazing yarns. Thank u for sharing. I loved looking at all the lovely yarn
Thanks, Zahra!
You got a lot of nice yarns🥰
I did! Thank you! I hope you have a wonderful week!
Nice mystery bags.
Thanks!
I'm gonna call "dibs" on that GORGEOUS purple yarn! Lol. Love you guys! 💜
You'll have to come here to get it....
Lol, ok, but don't use it all up before I get there!
Wonderful yarns
Hi Jude! Hi Mr. PJ's. I have never gotten yarns from Aberdeen's before that I can recall, but I have really been thinking about getting one of the mystery bags, so this really peeked my interest! I do LOVE wool and I would Love to shop Aberdeen's. Wow, the colors you got turned out to be very lovely and beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing all the yarny love. Hope you have a super happy Weekend and remember that I Love you Bunches!
HI Sindy! The Aberdeen mystery bags to go on sale, so that's a the best time to purchase. They also take a while to reach us here in the states, so don't be worried if several weeks goes by from order to delivery. I've never had problem and they always show up. I think it's become well known that I love the Tangled Poet minis and mystery bags from Aberdeen, but hey also have nice hand dyed hanks too. I had a great weekend, thank you. Sunday evening was spent binge watching Korean dramas with Mr. Pj's and winding the minis onto yarn bobbins in preparation to start a cardigan. It was a wonderful evening. I hope you had a lovely weekend too and an even better week. Much love!
Ooh,lots and lots of pretty yarn. Have fun deciding what to do with it all. Lol, crazy cats. 🧶👍🤗
Thanks, Wendy. Right now, we've parked it all into a single box and let the decision making for another time. We're in the midst of making a lot of changes to the yarn storage, having to shrink wrap some of the acrylic yarns that I have large amounts of to make some more space. There isn't any reason I need 10 of one color of LB Pound of Loves on the shelf, so we're making space or other acrylics in that same area. Our yarn database is so behind in being updated and both of those things are making for quite a huge mess in the yarn room. We're lucky if we get 2 solid hours a week to work on righting it all after all the other things that need doing, so it'll be a while before the yarn room is back in shape.
Hi I’m a newbie . I’m a Canadian 🇨🇦 Fun yarns .
Hi Art Junkie, all the way in beautiful Canada! Thanks for stopping by!
@@LlamasInPajamas13 thanks 😊
Hi Jude and Mr. Pajamas!
You nailed the opening!!!🎉🎉🎉 Oh my gosh Lol, 😂 It's too bad you're not allowed to use scissors!!! 😂 I did see that one! You have some sweet yarns! 😊 Take good care! ❤
Hi Sally! Aberdeen's certainly has the best mystery bags. Yep, that was the 'no scissors for you' day. Take care!
Hi guys. Nice. Whenever I got the bags there was always enough wool to make the patterns included. After you hand wash the Briggs it softens up a great deal. Have fun!
Oh, it softens! That's great to know. Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know.
Beautiful yarn❤
Thank you! 💜
glad to have found you guys again. Lost my subscriptions when I was tweaking youtube
Oh no, Sherry! I'm glad you found us again too. I've lost some people too and had to rack my brain to figure out how to get everything as I had it set up.
Beautiful yarns ❤
Thank you, Teresa!
Ooooo, you got some nice yarns and a lot of it!! I kept thinking you were going to be done, and then "wait there was more" lol!! Those Berocco Sox were gorgeous!! And all of your hanks were hopefully enough for you to do something with, and most of the colors were neutrals, so they should go together if there isn't enough of one color!! Lots of love guys!!
I've been collecting them into a single box so I can go through them later and see how much I have of what and figure out what to do with them. I just ordered 8 more, so I just keep the Aberdeen mystery bag train chugging along.
Hi Jude & Mr Pajama’s, wow you got some Bea-ti-ful selection of yarns 💖. The hanks look gorgeous.
I’ve just knitted a chicken for my mum and she loves it. I’m also working on a knitted shawl and hat. What are you working on?
You did make me laugh at the beginning when you said Mr Pajama’s wasn’t aloud to use the scissors 😂. Oh look at Charlotte she’s so adorable 😻. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend xx
We're doing a WIP FO video soon and you will be surprised, Sharon. I spent most of yesterday with Mr. Pajamas binge watching TV and winding Tangled Poets minis onto small bobbins getting prepared to start my first cardigan.
I've been working on the blue tablecloth quite a lot and I have a C2C small blanket in the works, my first time trying C2C so I'm doing it as a learning project. I ordered straight wooden needles to being learning knitting soon. I am totally shirking my admin duties but I am moving right along with projects where I am lerning and growing and I'm super excited about it. I even have a surprise shawl coming up in the next WIP FO video that I started and finished, after the last WIP FO recording. Look at me go!
A knitted chicken? How awesome! I bet it's super cute! Diane of My Pink Bathtub Knits would go nuts for that as she's a huge fan of chickens. I saw a cute crochet chicken/ bird on Cinnamon Stiches channel and I instantly wanted to try making it, so I will give that a go one of these days.
His scissors ban lasted the rest of that that day, so anytime you see a video that says that, it was filmed right after the Thryss yarn scissors incident on the same day. We still have a third day of batch recording to finish off the last of the boxes but there are only a few, so it's not too bad. I doubt we'll even post all of the videos from those batch recordings because there are so many, but I should never say never.
Charlotte is so funny. Still this old and she chases her tail as she did when she was a kitten. She's started a new behavior. She's been clinging on and not allowing herself to be put down, preferring to be held so Mr. PJ's is doing a lot of things like getting tea, with one hand because she's being ridiculous but cute. Magnus was like that since we got him at 8 weeks old and I ended up carrying him around majority of the time since he'd freak out and claw his way back into my arms if I tried to put him down. Being held was his happy place.
I did have a great weekend, thank you. I'm super excited to start a cardigan. It feels like I'm moving forward in significant ways toward my learning journey I've wanted to do since stating the channel. I hope you had a lovely weekend and that your week will go well for you. Take care, Sharon!
@@LlamasInPajamas13 so pleased you have been chilling and crocheting, I will look forward to seeing your projects. That cardigan with all your mini’s will look amazing 🤩.
I never learnt to knit on straight needles I went straight into interchangeable ones and my first project was socks 😳, I know I must be mad 🤣, but I followed the crazy sock lady and she explained everything so clearly.
My mum loves her chicken I’ll send you a picture.
Bless your fur babies that’s too cute. My 2 are very clingy with me which is lovely apart from when I’m having a hot flush 🥵.
Have a wonderful week my lovely friend xx
Hello & Hi!!
Hello and Hi back at ya, Vicki!
You recived some very nice yarn. Wondering what you will make?
Hi Cathy! I'm looking hard at that purple and gray alpaca. I ordered 8 more bags because the mystery bags were on sale again, so... right now it's just being collected into a box. If I get a few more skeins of the alpaca, I think I'll have enough to make a shawl. I'll also have to look for sales of the Folio too. Both of those were beautifully soft and definitely my faves from the bunch.
I just couldn’t chance it after my horrible ones last time. I totally think the knit ones are better even though it’s is supposed to just be patterns that are different.
I agree, there should be no difference besides the patterns but clearly, there is a difference. That's not uncommon, unfortunately. I don't think there is a wrong answer when determining to purchase or not. I think it depends on what you want to get out of it and if you have ways to use random yarns. As I said on your unboxing today, I wouldn't get any mystery bags, besides the mill ends from Hershner's, if I didn't have friends to give yarns to or a channel to have the fun of sharing unboxing them. That might not be enough of a reason for some people and it's possible that I would even stop purchasing them at some point. I'm glad you looked up the cost and included that in your unboxing. I don't bother to do that at all, so it's nice to see when it's done. Take care, Robin!
Lovely yarn! My original comment is gone. So I won't repeat myself. 😊
I swear I read it and responded to it yesterday. YT has weird moments.
@@LlamasInPajamas13 I may have accidently deleted it 🤦
Wendy Wool is a UK brand that has been going for many years. My son’s aunt is named after it and she is 54 (her mum was an avid knitter who worked in a wool shop).
I have seen Wendy Wool around a lot lately, so here in the US, it feels like it's 'new to the market' but I knew it wasn't. Still, I had not idea it was a brand that had been around for that long. What a lovely story about your son's aunt. Thank you for taking the time to tell me more about it. I'll have to snap some up with I run across it from time to time.
@@LlamasInPajamas13 I had a look and Wendy has been going for 90 yrs thereabouts. 😃
Trendsetter Yarns is a name I haven’t heard in a long time
I haven't heard of it ever. I'm so glad you've heard of it at all. I'll have to spend some time researching the yarn brand since I don't know anything about it.
@@LlamasInPajamas13 I think they are under the same umbrella as GGH and Lana Grossa but I could be wrong! As far as I can remember they were a higher end product but again, I could be very wrong lol
That was a fun mystery haul. I loved all the purples and blue and grey. Are you going to make anything for Mama Dee’s monochromatic MAK?
I’m thinking about an amigurumi of some kind
I started a chevron shawl with the discontinued Nordica yarn for Mama G's Mono MAL, but I frogged it. I didn't like how it was turning out. Also, I want to make a granny square scarf for Alie's "Carol's Scarves" project, so I ordered a few cakes of a black/white/gray yarn so I'll combine the makes. A monochromatic granny square scarf. I think I'll keep it pretty simple and just have granny squares at the very end since the yarn hasn't even arrived yet and the month is nearly half over. I"m probably going to repeat all of this in the WIP FO video we record today because both things are so strongly on my mind and it's good to get the word out just incase someone hasn't heard of either thing.
That sounds cute! Recently I saw a chicken/bird that Jennifer/Cinnamon Stitches made a tutorial for and it's so cute! I want to make one of those. 💜
@@LlamasInPajamas13 I've made a few chickens and they are fun to make. I made a strawberry turtle for my daughter for her birthday last month. I watched a crochet tutorial from Crochet By Genna and it turned out really cute. She's fun to watch and has quite a few free tutorials along with paid patterns. I bought a pattern on Etsy for a Zebra. I'm going to give that one a go for the monochromatic MAL. I do better following along with a tutorial verses reading a pattern. I did make some cute holiday themed penguins for my parents and siblings for Christmas and they turned out nice so fingers crossed. I'm not familiar with the scarf so I look forward to your vlog. :)

Hello Jude Mr pajamas
Hi Gwen!
Wow, what a great haul!
