- In this video I'll be showing you how to use the new AI chord progression generation in FL Studio BETA 21.3.
It is truly amazing what they have been doing over at Image Line over the last few years. I am always amazed by the new features they keep rolling out.
Will you be using this one? Will it be available for everyone or is this a new FL Cloud add on?

Lol. I actually stopped using scaler cause of the scale locks. I guess ill just keep it for performance modes. XD

This actually might be one of the better uses of AI, compared to e.g. art theft to feed an image generator machine. This seems like an awesome tool to speed up workflows, especially when you have one of those days where *nothing* you make seems to sound good.

Eagered to see what the final result is. Hope they get real creative with this because Ableton makes me want to convert just based on their new midi features.
i never needed a chord generator vst but fl makes it possible right in the piano roll is so cool
I bought fl studio yesterday instead of upgrading to Ableton 12. This make me even more happy I made the fruity jump.
I use Bitwig, doesn't even have a scale option in piano roll. As much as I want a more featured Piano roll, the lack of options forced me to learn music theory, learn about cadences, modes, 4 part harmony etc. Now I'm well equipped anywhere I go.
Fl really is working their asses of even with lifetime free update.

Reason has such a generator, much better even, for 2 years already.
I'm not saying it's not worth buying, but you can use its full version in demo for free. The only limitation is you can't save. But you can export. Use whatever tools you want out of FL Studio demo, export as WAV, open it up in whatever DAW you do have. Just a suggestion.

Honestly, I never tried because I don't use it for midi much but I'm pretty sure you can. I used the demos for years before I eventually purchased it bc I got tired of not being able to save and edit stuff later. The only limitation of the demo I found was literally you can't save and re-open stuff later. All other functions seemed to work (like exporting) so you should be able to export as a midi file from the piano roll and all the plug ins worked. You may not be able to get this plug in while it is in beta though. Just a guess!@@haystacksniperr

Dude i LOVE IT. I have been looking for ages for a simple chord progression tool. I have scaler but i dont like using it, its too convoluted for my taste. This is PERFECT. Give me a start progression i like, i tweak it and we are in business

Very useful, I think this feature is similar to Cubase's Chord Pads. Devs should have done this years ago.

It's similar to chord track in cubase and Studio one.. They should've add circle of fifths aswell ..for chord suggestions.if we can map these chord shape in Individual keys or pads we can play live aswell ..Hope fl studio will add in the future

The Beta version does seem to have quite a few bugs (as a Beta version would be expected to). But I can't wait until this feature is
in the mainstream version.

Eh Larry, I had a question, is there some kind of midi mixer or way to do this, I was looking at Stochas Sequencer and wondered if there was a way to have several midi outputs put through some kind of midi mixer so that they could all go to one instrument, I'm new to this so if it's really obvious my apologies? I have scalar, if this carries on I'll have to sell all my old plugins.....

FL has to go more further for ara 2 support for the playlist.. support audio warp markers in the playlist for fast time stretch. And a pitch editing support with ara2 integration like newtone editing

I installed 21.3 beta, but chord generation still not showing as an option in piano roll tools. Unlocked (I have the lifetime all-plugin license). Riff machine and all the others show, but not this new feature.
Any idea why?

Good Ole FL. Continually lowering the bar for the amount of dedication required to make music...
It's optional so you can always do it manually if you're a pro. If you're not a pro it's a time saver. FL Studio continually raising the bar I would say.
