Considering Rat killed the twins inside Candy and Cindy, this is lore accurate.
Actually it was Cat who did this, cause if you have played the second secret mini game in Fnac 3, you could see that the character that we play, have more the head of a cat than the head of a rat

Honestly, the Rat is one of the best, most well designed characters inspired by fnaf. Definitely one of the scariest too. He was rockin' the Walten Files look before the Walten Files
This is just my opinion but most of the FNAC animatronics look really really good and even rival the fnaf 1 animatronic designs a bit
