Bravo, This be the very top principal dancer for Royal Ballet or ABT, how gorgeous with power and elegance, badly needed on today's ballet stage!!! It says volume that he retired!!! How subjective and narrow minded in this form of art! How sad!
I've figured that I don't like typical dancer's career trajectory after all -- perhaps that's why I quit early. But I appreciated for your kind words. I do very much enjoy dancing on stage...

I am not anything musician or dancing, yet I appreciate real opera voice and disciplined dancing, What you feel when high in the air be what counts the most, in the end. Truly enjoy your move with right taste and class... best!!!
Forgot to say: Be thrilled to see you on stage of Central Ballet of China (national Ballet of China) at Beijing, I used to visit frequently back then, and there are troops of hardworking artists there... yet male be always in urgent need on stage.

Yeah I saw your facebook profile. Smart kid going to college and getting a STEM degree. I know so many dancer guys are in a bad predicament once they hit 30 and they don't have the ring option like their female counterparts. I started at 21 and turned down a regional company at 25 because the Director was harassing me. I went into IT full time at 27 and moved onto better things later. I still dance semi-pro guesting for schools.

thank you SO much! i just showed this to a 9yr old boy who thought ballet was for "sissies" - he now stands highly corrected. he is trying to teach himself break dancing from videos - i'm trying to explain he'd be better off to take formal dance lessons. next stop: alex and twitch to prove my point - alex is trained in classical ballet and handles hip-hop with ease; twitch is a hip-hop master and does not manage the ballet move at the end with any grace at all.
