The fact that he was only at the school for a couple months and already was a better hand-to-hand fighter than geto after not knowing how to fight like yuuji was at the beginning, proves that yuta is by far the most talented one in the series, not named gojo.

I mean he is a descendant of one the big three apparitions, so technically he was already blessed with a lot of cursed energy capacity, it's not all his own talent. He still put in the effort to learn though.
To the comment above, I wouldn't put down Geto either. Geto came from a non-sorcerer lineage so he isn't as blessed as Yuuta was, the only thing he had going for him was his unique ability of cursed spirit manipulation.
i dont think he was a better hand to hand fighter by like skill like Maki is. Its just Yuta was much faster and was double teaming w/ Rika. Also geto was surprised Yuta kept going after shattering his sword

Crap Yuta in the beginning believed he was weak and cowardly, but over the course of him studying at JuJutsu Tech, making new friends and discovering his own strength. He now has become a powerhouse of Jujutsu sorcerer Geto shouldn’t have underestimated him, they say the kindest people are the most dangerous when being pushed into a corner, and this situation definitely proves that.
Thats why Maki is super cool, she gave him the courage motivation and confidence to keep living. When they got eaten by a curse she told him he would become all this and more "because thats what Jujutsu High is all about!" ❤
What I think is really funny is that what Geto did to Yuta it's just like what Toji did to him in the past: Killed his friend (ok, none of Yuta's friends died, ok, Gojo survived, but Geto didn't know that) he got shocked than enraged calling his strongest curses to tear the enemy (who was just "playing" in the fight) into pieces, not caring for what he has to say. Just blind by the anger. But the diffrence between them is that Yuta and Rika won and young Geto not only was defeated but Toji humiliated him, making clear that if he wanted, he would've killed him.
