IIRC, AA missiles disable their warheads after a specific time so they don't cause collateral damage on the ground if they miss.
To be fair, I am certain western missiles do as you say, but do we know if Russian missiles do that? I mean, the Russians would be willing to kill a few civilians if it theoretically meant their missile could go that much further.
Also a AA missile doesn't cause so much damage, because missiles and Airplane are quiet soft targets, unlike buildings and bunkers.

I had my bloodwork done at that hospital, my girlfriend at the time ran the lab. It's a late 1880's building with walls three bricks thick. The newer hospital wings are probably 80's concrete panel construction, but more solid than the residential Plattenbau buildings. I haven't been to the complex since 2012 or so, but from the looks of it, the brown building is clad ceramic tiles and the newer-looking one is probably a cosmetic update, some kind of composite tile.
It would've been so easy for Ukraine's allies to prevent most of Russia's atrocities and war crimes. And it is still easy to prevent most of them going forward. With only a tiny bit more courage (or a tiny bit less cowardice), the allies need only establish and abide by a rule that the amount and type of weapons they give Ukraine -- and the restrictions they place on how and where Ukraine can use them -- depends directly on whether or not Russia fights the war with some honor and basic decency. The allies would need to communicate this rule to the Russians and tell them that, regardless of how honorably or dishonorably Russia fights the war, the allies will give Ukraine at least enough support not to lose more territory, but that minimal support will spare Russia the humiliation of an unequivocal, flat-out defeat. But if Russia continues to commit war crimes, then the allies will give more lethal weapons to Ukraine and loosen restrictions on how and where Ukraine can use them. If Russia not only continues to commit war crimes but continues to do so on a large scale, then the allies will give Ukraine enough to drive the Russians out of the occupied territory in Eastern and Southern Ukraine and, if Russia's war crimes remain widespread and monstrous, then the allies will give Ukraine enough weapons to further drive Russia out of Crimea leaving it obvious to the world that Russia flat-out lost the war.
So basically "play nice and we'll allow you to steal some land" That's insane.

The footage clearly shows that this was a Russian Kh-101 (X-101). X-101 missiles have accuracy of 6-10 meters, so Russia clearly targeted this hospital. Heartbreaking.

I think it's a KH-35, but NASAMS shouldn't be completely disregarded. We've seen Ukrainian air defense missiles fail and land on their territory causing plenty of damage before. A video that went pretty viral at the beginning of the war of a missile hitting the side of a building, blowing a large chunk off of it, showed exactly that.
Ryan, Wikipedia is amazing for weapons systems. I googled NASAMS wiki and linked to the AMRAAMs missile page. In the side box the claim is 20kg, 44 freedom weights.
Yeah, they're surprisingly good for information on munitions and small arms cartridges. Even old/obscure rifle rounds from a century+ ago, they're pretty good about finding the manufacturers claimed muzzle velocity, available projectile weights, max pressure, shoulder slope angle, H2O case capacity, etc. I use wikipedia for cartridge information more than anything else. Aside from powders the cartridge uses and hand loading data, they're quite thorough
Thanks for streaming! 🥰

He is focusing on that one little picture that is obviously not of a air defense missile what about the rest of the explosions in the background they were hit multiple times air defense in no way does this much damage on top of they self destruct if they don't find a Target they're not like Russia's missiles or air defense where they fall back and hit the ground if they don't intercept the target Jackson Hinkle is a liar and he should be ashamed of himself little kids we're hit by this strike not only were there little kids they were cancer patients too getting dialysis that were killed in this terrorist attack this is not the first time they have done this there has been multiple children schools maternity wards playgrounds and it's all been documented
Better question is why the the IDF target world kitchen?
When s-300 missiles are used on ground targets, the auto self destruct needs to be hardwired off. I’m sure the aim-120 also has self destruct to avoid collateral damage.
You can see the paths these missiles paths approx 48 hours after attacks on telegram, usually.

The picture of the missile close the cameraman might be a Kremlin fake. They magnified the missile and trimmed a little the main turbojet engine and winglets, but not too much. As usual Moscow wanted to achieve several goals at once:
- Show a different flight trajectory.
- Mislead identifications of the missile (not a jet engine, but tail fins, short winglets)
- Blame someone else for making fake pictures.
That's why i guess they were prepared for this attack beforehand very carefully, making up a dozen various versions, as usual - because they don't want people believe in one version, but try to make them doubt that the truth exists at all.
Ukraine must be modifying its AA missiles to cary mini nuclear warheads so they have the same destructive capabilities as Kh101

I dont know what a ubi-key is.
My understanding of IT however tells me it cannot really save you from hackers:
Because all it does is tell your computer "this user is authenticated".
The hacker doesnt need to have the physical ubi-key,
he just has to send the message to the computer which says "this user is authenticated".
It might be harder, it might help, but youre just moving your vulnerability a bit.

I'm not an expert in any capacity, so I have a question.
Does the Nasam lock on to incoming missiles or rockets and follow them?
If so, may it have locked on to whatever was incoming and followed it to the place of impact, not hitting it in time.
Or is that impossible?
It's just a theory of a complete novis, so I'll be thankful for answers.
If you are looking at the missile from the side the wings will be foreshortened. But it is probable that the missile in the image wasn't the one that blew up the building. It could be a NASAM trying to intercept the actual cruise missile but didn't get there on time.
Ought to be able to figure out the actual length of the missile from geometry. How far from the missile is the photographer? How big does the missile have to be to subtend that angle?
You could throw dozens of NASAMs at it and not get that kind of damage. That explosion is a half-ton warhead.
Or the missile was rotated along its axis from the perspective of the camera, making the wings look different.
