TCM FG25N2S Forklift Power Steering Cylinder Removal and Rebuild

  • Remove, Rebuild, and Reinstall the power steering "power cylinder". The hardest part is loosening the fasteners are they are pretty large and tight. You will need some larger tools and a heavy steel bar to tackle this job but it isn't super hard.

    Nice work on the rebuild I have the same forklift that I rebuilt If you ever blow up the rubber spider between the engine and Hydraulic pump I figured out how to make them from scratch. When you redid your steering did you have to adjust anything in the steering box. My forklift works great except the steering is really loose. Its on my project list.

    How do you remove the tablet cylinder the power cylinder from the key word is from the forklift

      I am not sure what you mean. The power cylinder is for the steering. There are also tilt cylinders and lift cylinders for the mast.
