Kevin Mason (Maso) Tribute Video.

On the 2nd of April 2023 the Newcastle motorsport community lost a good friend and one of the most respected old school car builder and modifiers in Newcastle NSW Australia. Maso as he was know was also a Datsun guru helping with advise and technical repair work helping many people to make their cars competitive with rallying as his main focus but he also helped people in the race circuit and hill climb motorsport areas. Kevin worked out of the lower workshop at Robertson Brothers in Mayfield.

Great tribute to a true gentleman.
I had the pleasure of knowing Kevin through his brother Colin in my teens in 1987. Kevin built a modified engine for my Datsun 1600 back in the day that was awesome to drive. Later on I bought his sons Mazda rx4 coupe. He was always helpful and had time for me no matter what I needed in motorsport and general life matters.
Rest in peace Kevin 🙏
