    Hanover is a small town inbetween Hamburg and Berlin, so it's nice to see the new stadium holding 49000 fans - good luck to them !!! Peace to Europe !!!

      +Run Robben Run Prayers are worthless if not backed up by action. Donate to the French Red Cross. Where do you live? If you live near or in France, you could donate directly to the French Red Cross or sign up as a volunteer. If you don't, use this website: www.redcross.org/donate/donation
      There's no option to specifically donate to France, but if you select "Where it is needed most", it's most probably gonna go to France anyway.
      BTW France wasn't the only one affected. I believe some place in Lebanon also experienced something of the sort.

    If Hannover 96 is nicknamed the Reds, why is their emblem green?

    • @C-Ro
      @C-Ro Před 2 lety +1

      The club colors are black-white-green, the shirt color is (wine) red. Why this is so, about it myths entwine. Probably the colors of the jerseys were determined by the association in the early years. And that's how it stayed.
      Wikipedia: "Although Hannover 96 has the club colors black-white-green, the players of the soccer teams are called "the Reds" by the fans because of the traditionally red home jerseys. The historical background of this deviating jersey choice is not clear. Since 1930 at the latest, the 96ers have been called "Rothemden" in newspapers. Even the predecessor "Hannoverscher Fussball-Club von 1896" used red jerseys despite the black-white-green club colors."

    Guys, it's awful what has happened in Paris in the last 24 hours, and indeed year with the January Charlie Hebdo attacks but can we not write about it on a video for German football? It's not the correct place to express condolence. Use twitter or various social media on the topic to express yourself.

    • @SFCJack
      @SFCJack Před 8 lety

      CZcams is social media. Besides, this channel will probably upload a video showing their support in the next few days, ljkee how they did with the Syrians before.

      @sumiatheangel9397 Před 8 lety

      +AccidentalBassDrop Then people should comment on that video and not this one. This is a video about a football stadium. A more appropriate place to talk about this would be footage of the incidents and/or the CNN/BBC channels.

    • @SFCJack
      @SFCJack Před 8 lety

      Mia San Sumia You'd be swarmed with other people though. Seeing as it's still raw, I think we're well in our rights to discuss it here.

    • @sumiatheangel9397
      @sumiatheangel9397 Před 8 lety

      AccidentalBassDrop Isn't that a good thing? Being swarmed with other people? You'd get a chance to exchange opinions and learn new things. The Bundesliga channel's, for me, a nice form of escape and unless they make a video explicitly about France or French footballers (they did release a video on that a short while ago--I think that one's a better place to talk about it) it seems out of place.
      It's the same thing as gay rights or abortion. They're hot button topics and they deserve attention, but that attention has to be given in the appropriate places. You'd be well within your rights to discuss feminism on a video about rape statistics, but not on a video on how to defeat Undyne in Undertale.
