Why are the song lyrics interrupting all the conversations? You miss so much because of the music lyrics.
The FL here is stupid. Why did she not ask first her husband before signing the divorve agreement. She clearly knows that his father is so evil, only loves money. She should have been wiser. The husband did everything to maintain their marriage even dumping his ex-gf. All that she did was to have a poker face, overacting (looks like a martyr wife), not thinking reasonably. I pity the husband--victim of an evil father and stepmother and an stupid poker-faced wife.
Stupid pilot--signing a document without even reading it. I thought pilots are intelligent and wise, but this story made them dull, naive & stupid. But I pity the 2 brothers for having an evil father--nothing matters to him but money. They're already matured and with good jobs, they can leave their toxic father, and live a peaceful life with their loved ones.
This was brilliant the main leads nailed this one and she is so beautiful

30 minutes in and FL's mom seems like my mom, everyone else is more important and I'd always be last if there was a list. That kind of mother is best to let go of. Sure there are moments where they are nice, but overall it's like a leech. The one capable child gets taken advantage of and is forsaken.
I feel like this drama is very realistic, most people are in a loveless relationship and find it hard to leave because of the fear of starting all over again.
Wtf kind of ending is that? The subtitles were so bad that it forcibly made me interpret/learn mandarin. I honestly can say after 4 hours of watching this drama, I learned a new language. And why the heck was the music so loud? I’m complaining right now, but tomorrow I’ll be wasting another 4 hours on a different show 😂

What's with all the music being translated and not the dialog? Besides that, the translation is crap. I'm not even a quarter of the way through and already want to quit this one. Her heartbreak is so damn depressing to watch. The main leads usually capture my attention and heart in the first few minutes, but this can't even be called a couple. To me, he was an ass from his first moment on screen, and she is just pitiful. I don't think I can get through this one.

I get her somehow. She has never known what love is. I think the mother is a typical old school mother, that favors sons over daughters. The ones that can cover murder for their sons and neglect their daughters for breaking a plate.
She had a crush on a boy in highschool and never let go. Moving her to even choose a career to be next to him. Doing all that and the guy doesn't notice you can be heartbreaking. All that can cement the inferiority complex on anyone.
First step is therapy, then cutting off her family. Then learn to self love. This is a 4hr movie, it was enough for us to see.her grow and emphasis the importance of psychologists and self love.

Barf. The only thing more annoying than the subtitles and audio (gruesome even by YT standards) was that frustrating, irritating, slow burn story. Between her family and that humiliating "relationship" - I don't even know what to call it, it wasn't a real relationship - her life was so bleak even just watching it made me think of a hot bath with a sharp blade. The only time her character was remotely interesting was when she spoke up to his father. One time in 4 hours. It makes me weep. And feel nauseous. But I can't tell. Maybe there was more to her, but I'd never know because 90% of the subtitles were nonsensical. And did they cut off the end? Like, seriously 🤮🤬
