Better Late than never! Here is my review of the Saviors Album, some track by track reviews, thoughts and previews.

Billie I feel really showed just how mature he’s become as a lyricist, melody writer and guitarist, especially on his solos, he isn’t simply strumming an octave cord or ripping and Angus young style shredded (he does both on this album) but I think for the first time ever, we actually got to hear Billie Joe play With Feel. Especially on Goodnight Adeline and Corvette Summer. Comparing Fancy Sauce to the last resort was a great comparison. I’ve been saying this is Green Day for grown-ups. they’ve earned their spot with the grades like Springsteen, the Beatles and the eagles.

W comment. In an outtake I said they could potentially go down as the second best band of all time. I don’t think dethroning the Beatles is possible, but their longevity and growth is basically unmatched. A lot of different sounds and emotions on this record.
