What is ASMR?
(Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response)
a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound.

Truly thought I was the only person that got that irritable feeling when someone keeps rubbing the same spot. You gotta move around or else it starts to feel like you're getting your skin slowly scraped off. Glad you get that as well. That's why I love these videos

Oh wow, is this a thing?! Am I not crazy?! My husband does this often, just rubbing or scratching the same spot and I will often shrug or readjust to try to move his hand đ Iâve told him it gets annoying because it makes my skin feel raw, which makes me feel bad because Iâm lucky that heâs affectionate. I just canât handle it!
Itâs definitely a thing. Same thing happens to me with my husband so I just say thank you once heâs scratched where I need him to. Otherwise he will keep scratching in the same areas and thatâs just irritating
Right it either gets raw or for me it gets way too sensitive then it starts to tickle! Glad Iâm not the only person who this happens to!!

I LOVE that you change up the touch so the skin doesn't get overly sensitized to one type of touch. I have watched videos where the same touch is used on the same small section of skin for 30 min and I am crawling the wall because I know I couldn't stand that, lol. Also I've seen you do light touch alternating with deeper massage and that is lovely. Again thank you for taking such good care of your participants on your channel - it's really beautiful work! â€ïžđ

I would pay big time for that.
Not one single massage therapist I ask will scratch my back. They claim they are specifically taught NOT to scratch in massage school. For Heavens sake, I'm not asking for sexual favors, I just want my back scratched because it feels good. :-O
There's actually 1 scratch therapy place in the world as far as I'm aware.
It's in Miami and it's literally a massage parlour but it's scratches and from what I've seen it's incredible
I wish this type of massage was more mainstream/accessible đ what Iâd pay to have someone do this. Feels just as if not more relaxing than a traditional massage!
If you go to a massage place and ask, they may do it!

"I just think that longer nails are more aesthetically pleasing when it comes to videos like this." YESSS!!! I feel like these kinds of asmr videos are less common as it is, and a lot of the ones I come across have very short nails. I can't get tingles unless the videos feature longer nails.
Agreed, but for whatever reason found the blue color less than 'appetizing'. Obviously just a personal preference but really long/crazy colors distract visually from the overall experience. But 100% agree these type of comfort videos are much more enjoyable than the out there eating or crinkle-y foil sounds. Again .. personal preference.

I always preferred having my back scratched over my shirt as a kid because the skin did get very irritated when someone would just scratch the same spot. You are the first ASMR channel I have seen that acknowledges this. Every time I watch a back scratch vid and the person has red lines all over their back I wonder if it really felt nice at all. Great video!

I need this more accessible. No one ever does back scratching like this. Anyone I ask, even show, does it in one spot for like 2 minutes and quits. This woman needs it all over and very lightly. I love this video, but now I really need to con someone into doing it for me haha.

I once was dating this guy who would always rub my hand or knee with his thumb for SO LONG and I realized my skin became irritated very quickly. Felt nice for .5 secondsđ€Ł so it's lovely to see other people understand that same sensation!

I love this video! I love how you switch up your movements so it doesn't get irritating like you say in the video. One thing I wish I would see more of in videos like this is more attention to the sides and the shoulders. I know when I get my back done by my husband, I always feel like I'm left unsatisfied if my sides and shoulders haven't been touched. Great video though.. the tingles are ridiculous with this one! :)

I love, love, LOVE this video. Gentle touches on a back is my favorite ASMR trigger. Every time you changed up the type of movements, it gave me another cascade of lovely tingles. I like this voice over version too. I don't usually like whispering in ASMR (I usually prefer soft-spoken), but don't mind it in this one at all.

My ex-girlfriend used to scratch my back with her nails very often and it was so good and so relaxing that I never wanted it to stop. It was like heaven on Earth. I wanted it to just go on forever, and sometimes I'd even plead with her to keep it going a little longer because I was loving it so much!
