Muppet News Flash: those people put themselves in position to get laid off at Google. If they never applied for a job at Google and then went to work at Google, they wouldn't have gotten laid off at Google. If they have skills good enough to get hired at Google, they could have worked somewhere else. But they chose Google.

This is true there were many laid off from Google, but many w2's I have worked with from Google were in the high 3 to $400,000. I would think it would be how best to use those types of resources, the ones I saw did not have any substantial assets that were providing a 4th of their salary. Now that is a bad situation to be in with a job loss
Erica, your interviewee said people did not learn the right skills. That is why they are in bad situation. In formal logic, when you said something like that, if I give you an example that contradict that statement, then your interviewee is incorrect. Yes, there are some people who did learn the right skills; but at the moment there are at leat 100 000 super talented tech workers who can not find a job in 6 months or a year. It has nothing to do with them.
You are assuming that they have savings to survive, which is not true.
In conclusion, please learn to recognize flaw in your reasoning. There is nothing wrong with that.
Other that than, I enjoy your channel and have been following for the past 6 years.

It's funny when follks make generalizations like this. Everyone is NOT broke and struggling. People need to put themselves in high quality environments and they will see that this is not the case at all.
That's the whole point of video. Everyone is not. That's what we making fun of.
