Ivansson's scrap car yard/ Scrapyard at Båstnäs in Värmland. This is a place that offers magic. A quiet place seething with history. A single large installation of cars that once served their owners. A popular destination for many and above all for Norwegians during the 50s and 60s. Spare parts and whole cars were bought here, which found refuge through the forest and into Norway. During the 80s, the business was shut down and left to its fate. There are about 1000 cars here that are slowly being taken back by the forces of nature.
