    You need a top loader glass protector to protect from bending.

    Great video! Have been doing TTMs recently after having not done them for many years. Makes each trip to the mailbox exciting. What’s been the most surprising return that you’ve gotten back that you didn’t expect to ever initially get back?

    Great video!! I do have one question. What is the reason not to put the card in any protective sleeve, toploader or cardsaver, when sending it out? In your experience, does the cards come back undamaged? Thanks again for guidance. Greatly appreciate it.

      I know it’s been awhile but it’s because there have been instances where players may sign the protective sleeve

    Do you usually have to send a toploader and sleeve with the card so it doesn't get damaged to and from the player?

    • @marylinihan6459
      @marylinihan6459 Před 3 lety

      I usually put index cards, but some people accidentally sign the sleeve instead of the card.

      It depends on the player. Most fees are reasonable which are between $5 to $20 per card and these fees are for baseball Hall of Famers too. But there also guys like Nolan Ryan who charge $75 per card and $50 per inscription but this money all goes to his foundation.

    • @portlandcardcompany5793
      @portlandcardcompany5793  Před 6 lety +1

      Good question. I use Word to print envelopes but I also have a printer that lets me insert envelopes. See if that's an option for you. If not, you might just have to handwrite it the old fashioned way! :)

      Best thing to do is go to sportscardforum.com and search for the players and see how successful people are at getting back autographs. If other people have had good success, those are the players I'd send them to.

    Respond. Dose Kershaw, Frazier, Matz, Ramos, Trout, darnuard, Flores sign autographs through mail

      no

    • @MrDodger3222
      @MrDodger3222 Před 2 lety

      Trout used to sign ttm while in the minors and continued to sign some fan mail after being called up but I don't think he responds anymore. I think Kershaw still signs some fan mail but he charges a donation for his foundation if he even answers.
