  • A favorite of many, Andy M's classic is a great one for the whistle, thanks (I'd argue) in part to his lilting voice, it just seems to match up so well. This is one I've been playing lately and someone requested a full-length tutorial after I posted a short recently, so here we are.

Loved Andy M. Stewart! Sad to think that he and Johnny Cunningham have been gone so long. It’s hard to play this tune without hearing his lilting voice.

I love Irish music and as a way to occupy time because of my disability from a head injury I picked up a whistle and found your lessons easy to follow! So here I am❤

Thank you for this video. As a new tin whistle player I greatly appreciate the added ornaments details as those add that magical spice and to my brain appear too much to comprehend. I wonder if anyone else is missing some tempo information? Maybe a count-in at the beginning to define it and then we can figure the rest out? Keep up the great work, cheers.

Is that the Humphrey knock off? I don't really care what you call it. It sounds great. I think it has a lot of color in the sound and it made me check out the price list.

No that's a Lir - I'm not familiar with anyone doing Humphrey knock-offs but I guess it wouldn't surprise me if it were so
