- We put tracks on our OFF-ROAD MOWERS!
Here’s how we did it! ⬆️⬆️⬆️
We used atv tracks and and built our own 4 bolt to 5 bolt adapter plates along with limited bar mounts and showed you guys all the info you need to put tracks on your off-road mower!
Remember to think about what kinda transaxle you have and what size your axle shafts are before buying tracks
In our next videos we will be riding these rigs in some snow and showing your guys how well these rigs do in 4ft of snow!
Thank you for watching if you enjoy watching off-road mower actions

you guys did a great job making those tracks for those mowers
I went through this whole process of putting tracks and skiis on my mower. Not to take away from your journey and adventure making these, they're a ton of fun, tracks are awesome, but skiis on the front kinda sucked after a while and discovering their limitations. They were exciting at first until after the novelty of having made a tracked deep powder machine wore off. They work but after running mine for a season I was ready to ditch the skiis and just build and ski-less Argo/snowcat type vehicle with brake actuated skid steering. Its pretty easy and all you have to do is put front brakes on the front wheels, wrap snowmobile tracks around the front and rear tires to make a single long track on each side, and then make some kind of simple track retention sysyem so they don't work their way off the tires. So enjoy the stoke of having tracked MOWERS, but just be warned, you'll soon realize that building a mower Snowcat is the next progression and ditching the skiis on the front will take it to a whole new level and not difficult to do at all.

Great video guys, really inspiring for sure. I can't wait to get out and get crafty next chance i get !
I know what I’m doing next winter😂
Awesome job guys
A lot of nordic ski groomers use snowmobiles pulling trailers to groom. I don't have a snowmobile, so I am wondering if tracks + skis on a Garden tractor would work well for this instead of a snowmobile? I have a Cub 2518
Tracks in snow put less of load on a transaxle than low pressure tires on dirt. Tracks in snow slip pretty easy. I run tracks all day long on a Peerless 605 no prob.
The ScrappyTank!! 😂
some Nice welding!
Thank you I appreciate that! Self taught, still learning hugely!
Where did you get those track set ups
Found them used, on our local Buy & Sell
What kind of mowers are they??
where did you get the welder?
East wood company!
@@okoffroadmowersya I was looking at their site. was just wondering if maybe there was a canadian distributor maybe. Im on the hunt for a new mig welder.
It’s worth it!! I love the 180!
Pretty nifty but 12 minutes of making and a couple of actual riding them was a bit annoying.
Way she goes! Next video will be all about our riding adventures
Here at Okoffroadmowers we don’t just show you the cool stuff we want other to be able to join in on the action, with their own build!
