Let me guid you. When ever you go to kashmir or ladakh. Try to sart your journey 4am from jammu. That way you will never get stuck in traffic. By 12 you will reach srinagar. I hv been to kashmir 14 times. Love from London.

Hi , yes even i observed it the traffic is less in the morning and i have decided the same, next time i will take halt in jammu and start the journey again early morningg by this one can avoid the huge traffic cause by carrier trucks

yes high chances between 21 december to 15 jan coz tht period is considered to be the most coldest days of the year in kashmir also known as "chillai kalan" in local language.
