We're so much on the same page here! 🥳🥳🥳 I've been using those tricks, those habits for a long time now. Furthermore, i also happen to study english and spanish 😂 I watch the tv (news, series, movies) and i read books strictly in english or spanish only! Apart from the books i read for studying/work. If an author isnt spanish or english i pick a copy in one of those languages. For instance i read Crimen y castigo and El murciélago (y incluso El resplandór). I keep a diary in both english and spanish. I switch constantly from one to the other. That's why i think id enjoy hanging out with latinos living in usa 😂

I've been listening, only to podcast and videos. Two months... I think 1 year like this could be huge.
I think that the important thing is to just put time into it. Even if it's listening to music in the language, watching a CZcams video or reading a book. It's important to do something that you enjoy doing usually, like you say in this video. If you don't like reading in your language, it's unlikely that you will be motivated when you're doing it in English!

Ive been learning English for over 16 years. I do everything in English but when it comes to speaking I still struggle a lot. I gave up on it.
Don't give up! You just need to practice speaking more, find a speaking partner or an English teacher and it'll help you greatly!
I don't believe you've given up. Take a break, reassess and you'll come back and you will do great. I also thought I gave up a couple of times. You're not failing you're learning

Do you recommend monolingual dictionaries or bilingual ones? Because I feel like if I'm using a bilingual dictionary it's something similar to translate in your head the word's meaning to your native language and you're not actually learning, what's your take on this? Greetings from Argentina!

as you said, Habit 5 i actually don't have any foreign account to pay dollars for book a speaking meeting, I'm really disappointed of that.
But Veronica I have been living in states for over a decade but I still have a hard time to start a conversation. I do not know how to improve my fluency. I know I hate reading, may be I have very liNoted vocabulary build up which resist me to deliver my message to native speakers.

I mean to say that, why do we not use the present imperfect continuous for this sentence below?
