I pre ordered the Galaxy Watch Ultra titanium gray with black Trail Band I actually got 2 bands cause of a pre order offer. I traded in my watch 6 classic and got 350 $ off. I pre ordered on july 13th , UPS delivered mine today too.
I just got mine set up with My S24 Ultra. I preferthe trail band better it is very comfortable. Only paid 223 dollars. I would love to see you reciew the trail loop band from Samsung it looks awesome !!! Great video!!!! I love bigger watches too.

Yes, it is gone. However, you can plug the phone charger into your device's USB-C port and charge it through your device (phone, tablet, etc.) when away from home.

Battery now after this week seems it´s great, have like 70-75% from morning to next morning. Not been doing any workout as always use my Garmins there, but for all daily things and tracking it´s looking very solid so far on battery. And i do even have my LTE going when jumps in when to far from phone.
Even my Fold6 after this week is better than i thought on battery, so far so good on batterys on the new samsung tech. :)
And for my taste Samsung could have push it to 52-55mm and it had been perfect. :)
How is it on LTE I heard a lot of LTE watches get hot
I preordered the titanium grey with the black trail strap and the orange Peakform as the freebie for $269 with the trade-in of the Watch 4 Classic. To avoid missing the rotating bezel, I'm getting the Watch 6 Classic and trading in an old Watch Active.
I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the Ultra, but I have to say it's a great looking and feeling watch, and not heavy at all in my opinion.
The whole Apple Watch comparison isn't relevant since this watch is a remake of the Samsung Gear Sport from about six years ago, just bigger. Even the orange band isn't exclusive to Apple. But I chose the orange strap because the fanboys are all up in arms over a strap color. LOL!!!

Mine works
I got the orange/gray with both gray bands, getting used to it. Just as big as my Polar Grit X2 Pro, wish they copied that circle lol but its fine. I like the night mode so far. I'll test it at the gym tomorrow, maybe go hiking. I just hope the battery is as good as my 5 Pro as that one lasts 3-4 days for me.
Look, no smartwatch is going to be 100% perfect and 100% accurate. What you buy is a trade-off between what you need/want to use it for, what you want, and what you can afford. There is a huge difference in functionalities and intended use between smartwatches and Garmin watches, as well as the markets they target. If you are not a professional athlete and are looking for a smartwatch and are already in the Samsung ecosystem (you already have the phone, the tablet, the earbuds, etc.), then the choice is easy.

The buttons are for removing the band ,to install just push it in until it clicks , i didnt like the pins on the old design ,these look much easier, mine is due for delivery on 21/7 ,I prefer this new design ,traded in my 6 classic

I'll wait for the 8 to trade up for the rotating besel option on the ultra. They will add that Feature next year. Batterie life is important but this watch aint that big of an upgrade

You can use the same charger I'm still using the same charger that I used on my Galaxy watch 5

Cancel your order and get the 6 classic. I had the Ultra for 3 days and it's not that great. The back of the watch gave me a bad rash on my wrist. It's actually cheaply made. Only about 10 % Titanium. I got the same heart rate measurements and GPS distance as my 6 classic. If you liked the rotating bezel on your 4 you will not like digital bezel. It really sucks bad. I already returned this Ultra and it's a relief to have my 6 classic back on my wrist.
@@paulkline3011 thank you for the heads up, but I'll try it out. I actually like the look of the ultra better, and when I go to the gym I go into the sauna(dry) and the build quality is better for that sort of stuff. The only thing I don't like is the circle, they should of just made the screen fit the sides imo.
Besides trade in value for my 4 classic was 300, so no Brainer to get a new one.

No is not.Only with Samsung phones work.I change my iphone 15 pro with the ultra s24 and together I buy the watch ultra☺️
You can go back in time and get a Samsung Gear watch and it is rectangular. This is pre Apple Watch, so who is copying? I am using a Samsung Duo charger from 3 years ago, and my Ultra is charging fine. It may be slower, but I can live with that over having to use that puck! I do miss the rotating bezel. It was almost a deal killer.
Good news about the duo, gonna try mine today (got it with the 6 classic). Do you get a message saying charger incompatible? Notice extra heat?

@@TheJabberTech No messages and it works just like it did with my 6 Classic. My first was the Frontier, but the Sport is the same shape as the 7 Ultra.

Can you take it to a long walk in NY for a battery life and GPS accuracy test please. What I mean is a five - six hours of walk if possible.
@@Tha-King-Arthur That's the reason of this test :) I read somewhere that Samsung promises 16 hours of battery life in fitness activities with GPS and it has it's own triathlon support also; so, may be, without AOD on during this test, the watch may surprise us, but we may never know without trying.

I did and it's so boxy. Digging into my left palm aggressively but I think I need to get used to it. I know they say cameras aren't upgraded but I took a selfie and it's much better than my fold 5.

Such a WASTED opportunity to use a bigger display on the whole squircle body, it will make navigation much easier as there is no ring. They just used the same 1.5 inch leftover displays for watch 6 classic to the ultra. PreOrdered it anyway, most probably will return and get the watch 7 instead.

Those who come from Apple to review Samsung will always be bypass tot think that everyone is copying Apple because that's their origin. Real Samsung & android users know that Apple waits for android features & products to old before they slowly introduce it to their ecosystem. Samsung Gear was out years ago, but here we are today with reviews like this 1 continuously saying like Apple when Samsung recreated their own product, but Apple per usual stole the design of.
Oh: my Wireless Duo charger doesn’t work with the Ultra Watch either. 🤨

@@TheJabberTechthis is due to the extra sensors on the back of the watch causing a larger bulge.
This is the same reason why reverse charging on the phone doesn't work.
One of the youtubers reached out to Samsung to find this out.

I paid 1,500 Euros for my special addition Tesla watch. The battery exploded while being charged. Get this watch instead. Tesla makes burning garbage.
Samsung had that design long befor apple ,they had an orange band long befor apple ,they had programmable buttons on their phones years before apple . Personally I don't like the look of the apple watch, looks like it was designing for children.
If you want a square face you can go buy the Apple watch

I'm sorry to say, it was quite a struggle watching you unbox this watch. You opened the box messily, seemed unsure about attaching the band (assuming the mechanism is like the Apple Watch Ultra), and provided incorrect information initially (stating the old charger doesn't work, though you tested it later in the video). Another mistake is that the 100-hour battery life claim is for power-saving mode. According to the official website, battery life will be less than 60 hours if AOD is turned on.
