I love the fact that you wanted to include Beer’s owner in the whole process and making sure that they were a fit before having Beer stay permanently. You sir are a class act. I wish all horse owners were like that. 🐴

Chase is a very intelligent horse and so sweet, you have a real gem there. It is neat how horses seem to understand who belongs to who, Chase seems to know right from the beginning that Bear and him share the same human, that they are now family. My horse also realized this almost instantly when I bought a little mini for her, but she behaved completely differently. Normally friendly towards other horses I expected the same when I introduced little Tosi to her. At first she ran up to the fence line, her usual friendly, curious self, but then when she sniffed him and seemed to realize he was mine, she went into a rage. Good thing there was a fence between us. After few minutes of rearing, lunging and screaming, she galloped to the far end of the pasture, put her back towards us all and sulked for several hours. With time they did get along reasonably well, but they never were really friends. My horse just did not like to share me with any other horse. Before Tosi I had bought a sheep to keep her company. That did not work at all since she found it was a lot of fun to grab her by the fleece and toss her over her shoulder lol It is neat how different horsey personalities can be. Chase would most likely be gentle with a sheep, but my horse had a wicked sense of humor :D Totally bomb proof on trails though, liked to chase coyotes and bears as well as motorcycles and snowmobiles :)

The new baby is beautiful I was so happy to see everyone get along. I especially love the compassion and love you have for your animals this was my childhood dream but never came true so I get to watch and follow which makes me overjoyed♥️♥️

That they took to one another so well is beautiful to see. Beer does look very happy as well. All around wholesome and decent and sweet. Thanks for sharing some of the good in the world.

@@issaapz Trust me, not all Dutch people. My pedigreed Dutch WB (KWPN) arrived to me with nothing when I imported him from a mid-20s Dutch amateur/owner. Came with a crappy cloth halter, no fleece shipping halter, not even regular leather halter, no shipping boots or wraps, no blankets even though he was body clipped and shipped to NYC from Belgium in January (freezing weather) and quarantined at a nearby farm and then trailered 7+ hours to me in Chicago. The hauler was kind enough to put him in some old blankets while he was in quarantine and in the trailer. Not impressed on the seller and agent's part considering it cost around $45k for the horse and total shipping, not to mention the commissions. (And I know that's cheap for many people who buy horses for 2-3x that amount.)
I can't believe what a sweet gentle boy Chase is. So friendly towards your new boy from the very first meeting. Its lovely they are such good buddies. ❤❤❤
I have a silver dapple pinto and he reminds me of her! Calm and sweet and likes to run. Minis are such great companion horses and I think Matt did a great job! Chase and the dapple are going to be such great friends!

Looks more like a miniature horse to me. I'm falling in love with them because my nurse/friend has one named "Roxy." Minis are freaking neat! They are better for me then a dog and beautiful!
