Supporters of the band are known as "The Warning Army".. Horde might be a better description 🙂 The fanbase is a very diverse group, from every corner of the world. The ability to bring so many people from different walks of life together is part of the magic that these young ladies have.

You're right about being very diverse- and in age too. I was a teen in the 80s and loved hard rock. The Warning are the future- the real deal!

Chris, thanks for the reaction! They’re in their 11th year as a band. They’re sisters. Ale, the bassist, is the youngest at 19.
A little over 10 years ago, three little sisters, two teenagers, one not even that, decided to go full throttle ahead and be a rock band. One EP and 2 LP's, all independently produced, proved they were the real deal. Then Lava Records signed them, granting full artistic control to the band, they made the album "Error" and here they are. I've followed them for 6-7 years, just saw them live and, my man, this is rock today, and it's good and healthy. The world has been warned. Welcome to The Warning rabbit hole, it's a great place to be if rock is your second name.
Probably they already told you, but the producer of this gig hadn't heard them, and he was floored. Along most of the audience who was not used to rock. Now they're fans. And it's just the beginning. New album launches June 28.

That's probably their "best" OMV, just because of how well it illustrates the storyline. At their core, _The Warning_ are "story tellers".

They do have great music videos but their real superpower is live. And the drummer sings _lead_ on about a third of their songs while still drumming furiously. A lot of us have followed these young ladies since they were kids in 2015, so we love them like nieces. Please keep on with the band!

It's so hard to believe, but it appears that the two singing with them in the audience were the only ones who knew who The Warning were. This was a major introduction to the world!! So awesome for them, they soooo deserve it!!!🤘🤘🤘
I think there were at least three TWA folks in there. Briefly right behind the guy and gal that are singing along, there's a another dude right behind them singing along too. So, yeah, at least three folks were fans.
Actually, the guy you see up front singing along, got a front row in front of Dany after the producers spotted him after the More set. They invited him up front, so they could film him and when he got up their he wished Dany, a "Happy Dany Day" and she acknowledged him for that...she is so sweet. He actually posted a video on YT about all of it, he is a huge Warning fan and was lucky enough to get into this show. Believe the girl next to him is his girlfriend or friend as well.

That crowd wasn't The Warning fanbase at the time, but they probably are now. You're right, they're having a lot of fun being rock stars and role models at the same time.
That guy at 3:07 was one of maybe three fans of The Warning in that audience before they performed (I'm sure there were many more after.) Dany noticed him during the first song (More) and she had him moved to the front of the audience for this (the 2nd) song. Linked below is a video of him describing the experience.

Dany’s facial expressions are fucking next level. Ale is in mega rockstar mode. Pau..well Pau is on steroids. Dany’s look at the end was Yeah, we did that! A quote from the MTV video director “I’m a fan! HOLY SHIT!” The next legit super group.

I love that these super talented sisters are just having a blast every time they get on stage. Pau is always all smiles as she pounds away on her kit. Love it their energy is contagious. ❤

AND all three of them are classically trained pianists. The drummer, Pau, usually starts the songwriting process for the band using a piano to compose. The bassist, Ale, has perfect pitch and is a human metronome. Dany, the lead vocalist on most songs, and the guitarist is a total guitar nerd with the widest vocal range of the trio. But, yes, all three sing phenomenally well. Ale doesn't do lead vocals (usually, though when Dany is ill she will take on a few songs). Pau sings lead on about 25-30% of their songs. She has a wonderfully expressive, emotional voice. Ale has a lower vocal register that matches Dany's, but she does have a falsetto that sounds quite nice in harmonies. Pau usually does an upper register in harmonies tough there are songs where Dany is hitting her highest notes and Pau will come in under her for the harmony. They are quite versatile and creative in their songwriting creating a lot of well nuanced "tricks" to make their sound fuller, and make the harmonies work as effectively another instrument. Also, on a lot of their songs, especially the newer ones, Ale is filling in some rhythm elements usually covered by a second guitar. Also, the songs are designed to be carried by the bass and drums allowing Dany to focus on the vocals while using the guitar to accent the vocals much as a lead guitarist does in a four piece band. It's very smart song composition and it works for their style of music, which I have to say is similar to everything else that's Rock but also bears their distinct sound as it is a unique amalgam of all their musical influences.
Their music videos are good. They are just always better live.

(Lusten to Metallica's Enter Sandman first if you arent familiar that way you can appreciate it better)Then the official video of the reimagined version the did for Metallica's blacklist album then live at Teatro Metropolitan. It's the best way to see the talent was strong 9 years ago when they were 14,12 & 9. They honed their stage presence by continually performing since they were kids. Thank you for reacting. We are so glad to see your appreciation for these young ladies we live so much. Once you do the Trifecta itll likely give you understanding why we are so much like proud aunts and uncles about them.❤

this was such a huge and powerful exhibition they gave with the short time they were given... they performed two songs, *More* (done first) and this one, *Evolve* which is certainly a fan favorite... Pau (drums) came up with *Evolve* after watching a documentary about evolution and gene manipulation... this isn't the first time she has drawn inspiration from a TV show or movie, either...
i understand that MTV is still looking for their roof LOL
i'm quite proud and happy for DPA/TW for making these milestone appearances at two MTV functions, the MIAW in CDMX (back in Aug 2023) and the VMAs in NY&NJ (Extended Stage) (in Sep 2023)... three additional milestones for their VMA appearance are
1) they are the first Mexican band to perform at the VMAs,
2) they were invited to perform,
3) they were not nominated for anything...
those speak volumes in a great and huge way! now add to that they have been doing this for 10 years... most of that was while independent...
i would also be remiss if i didn't mention that this performance was real unlike the other groups that also performed here... DPA/TW did both of their songs fully live and in one take each while the other performers lip synced and took all three allowed takes... the ""best"" of those takes was selected for airplay... DPA/TW were also the only ones to be announced on the main stage when it was time to present their performances...
watching Pau (drums) firing her *_"Scream of Evolution"_* toward the heavens releasing all of her frustrations and pain so she can *Evolve* and grow past them is always a treat 😜 she has described the scream she does in *Evolve* in similar fashion and she brings it for real each and every time they present this hard rocking power ballad in concert or live sessions...
Pau has also stated that playing here on this stage was a very _surreal moment_ ... she said the stage was very much like the stage in the game Rock Band... i can easily see that they might have felt as if they had been transported into the game... i'm sure they imagined similar when they were playing the game as children and just beginning to find their path in life pre-2012 or so... in Aug 2023 they celebrated their 10th Anniversary as a band... i can't wait to see what the future bring to them!
Fun Fact: Pau has three screams/yells that she does... the first, most well known, one in *Evolve* , one in *Z* , and the other in *Hunter* ...

TWA=The Warning Army. We are a global family, and the Villarreal sisters are our sisters/daughters/nieces. That is the main reason that our primary emotion of their achievements and music is PRIDE.
Their music videos are great but live is their super power.
Any The Warning song you pick will be AT LEAST interesting. Some of them are phenomenal. LIVE is their super power. Anything from the entire Teatro Metropolitan CDMX (That's the Metropolitan Theater in Mexico City) 08/29/2022 concert will be great. Paulina (Pau, or POW!!!) is the 2023 Drumeo Rock Drummer of the Year! They showed a clip from this video at the awards ceremony, including the scream!

These ladies are incapable of writing a bad song. Watch the entire concert from Teatro Metropolitan from August of 2022. Choke is the video I saw 15 months ago that spiralled me into The Warning rabbit hole. There are so many of their songs that take the listener on a musical and lyrical super rollercoaster ride, with slow build ups, pauses, then extreme pounding cords and bass lines. The Warning is a once in a generation phenomenon. I flew down from Portland Oregon with my daughter to see them live over 3 months ago in Tijuana where they started with Disciple. Ale’s bass kicked me in the chest and knocked me over, then Pau beat me over the head with her drums and then Dany finished me off by slaying me with her guitar and vocals. Once you go down The Warning rabbit hole there's no way out, like Black Holes (which is one of my favorite songs of theirs). Warning: you will be innundated by The Warning Army! 🤘⚡A few have said that MTV is still looking for the roof of that place

Evolve from the VMAs is an excellent choice. I'm always a little frustrated when people react to the official video instead. I mean it's still awesome, but there's an energy to this performance that isn't *quite* on the studio version. It's odd that it got blocked though. I've yet to see a Warning video get blocked. *shrugs*

The band is missing three to four other members: the two singers usually count as extra, the rhythm guitar is divided between Ale and Dany. A keyboard player is replaced by backtracks. Instead of three there should be 7.
