ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I know a lot of people complain about too many Batman in the line, but with this, Blue Hush, and Keaton movie, they’ve been great.
Seriously. Im kinda burned out on the bat but the figs are sweeeeeeet.
And i joke this is how they pay for the license 😂
Well, we're not saying that Batman figures suck, but the fact that there are too many, and there are a lot of characters that still don't have a figure on their own, makes us wonder if we are ever going to get collection that rivals with MLs for example.

Dark Knight one was really good.
The Azrael Batman and Speeding Bullets Batman are top notch too.
This figure looks so damn good the anatomy is something a lot of other toy companies should take note of. So bad ass you got one early!
The card is Kelly jones who would do the insane long ears. Jim Aparo who did Knightfall art is inspiration of This figure who drew the back broken issue
This can actually be the best regular Batman yet from McFarlane, it looks great! If you have more batmen in your collection, you can build up the ultimate Batman at a 7in scale
Mcfarlane came a long way in such small amount of time.
Man, I remember when McFarlane first got the DC license I was pissed. Took me a while to warm up to him, but the stuff he’s been putting out lately has been great. This is going to be my definitive Batman, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Russ, this freaking figure is like full stop, earth-shatteringly cool looking. I am so thankful you have him shown with figures I actually own so I can see that he’d will fit in so well. That photo of him, Supes and Green Lantern looks like straight SUPER POWERS! Like we’re in a super version of 1984. I actually never owned the Super Powers Batman. I did have the Burger King cup with detachable statue/handles, and I would play with him as my Batman, same with the Wonder Woman and Darkseid (I DID own Super Powers Superman, though).
I truly hope mine has good paint apps like yours, because I think I’ll get emotional when I get him. I also see him as a classic ‘70s-‘80s-‘90s comic Batman.
I ordered two and am stoked.
With everything you wrote here, I would be devastated if you didn't love this figure as much or more than I do. Glad you liked the comparison with GL and Supes. I totally had Super Powers figures in mind for that. I don't know how I had both a Superman and Batman back in the day, but holy shit I loved those figures! My true first super hero action figures.

I had a bunch of the Super Powers, Supes, Robin, GL, Martian Manhunter, Dr. Fate, Lex, Joker, Brainiac, Green Arrow, Flash, Firestorm, Hawkman, and Mantis. It’d be cool to get them again, but that’s a slippery slope to find space and funds to get them😝😝
McFarlane's Multiverse line has improved a LOT since he 1st got the license. But the scale is still all over the place. Your figure comparisons toward the end of the video really bring the point home. That shot you did of 3 different Batmans from the same line. 3 completely different sized Batmans. 3 wildly different head sizes lol. In another of your comparisons, how is the Knightfall Batman's head somehow smaller than the Hush Robin's head? It's the lack of attention to detail that keeps me from buying way more figs from this line than I otherwise would.
That said: As a standalone figure, this Knightfall Batman is top 5 from the line so far, easily. Especially when you factor in price.
Honestly these are the best batman figures weve ever recieved so I'm all for it! Wish we'd get more Superman, Supergirl, and Flash styles!

Hes gonna be my first mcfarlane figure, really wish they were 6 incu scale, but who knows when mafex will get theres out so ill have to settle for now. I do wish the belt and emblem were a less neon yellow

This Batman suit is similar to the one Batman wore in the eighties back when I was a kid, and that year Jason Todd Robin was killed off by the joker in the comics too💁🏻♂️.

First McFarland Dc Multiverse figure I have ordered in a while. Loss interest when he was pumping out all the side eye figures and realizing that he has no plans to improve aesthetics (pin-lesss tech/diapers) and articulation.
But this will be a good enough upgrade to my Batman Detective 1000 for my Justice League display maybe one day he’ll make a classic Wonder Woman but that’s a dead horse.

Looks fantastic and LOVE the art, it's the first ever Batman comic I ever bought, the only thing I'm a little disappointed by are the length of the ears and the gray being a bit too light to my liking. But it still looks amazing. Fortunately the MAFEX one looks like they'll rectify those issues. Getting both!

I went from collecting ML to McFarlane Dc figs, and the lack of thigh cuts was a downer to me at first but I've learned how to get around it and still get them in poses you usually need a thigh cut for but, I agree it would be a huge step and would put these figs on top for sure. (Sorry I left two comments)

The ears are fine. This would be the official style guide length, but the exaggerated super long ones were artist interpretations by the likes of Kelly Jones and Todd Mcfarlane. As they both have very cartoony styles so they should not be registered as "on model". This one is going to be my definitive Batman when I get him. Near perfect. 11:48
