2:48 Just a suggestion. Looks like the intestines were not thoroughly cleaned by the butcher. Here's a proper way to thoroughly clean the chicken intestines.
1 Place intestines in a large bowl and place it in the sink.
2 Add about 1/4 cup rock salt and 1 cup vinegar per kilo of intestines you have.
3 Begin by rubbing the salt and massaging the vinegar into the intestines. Keep doing this until the salt has basically dissolved.
4 Rinse well.
You may have to do this process a second or third time if the intestines have a strong odor.

Here is how you should have prepared the isaw and gizzard. After some time rinse it thoroughly. After that pre boil it to make it tender together with the flavoring that you want for the taste. The cool it before putting it on the stick then barbecue it on the ihawan for the color and charred taste
Next time Hana blanche the isaw para di sya easily magdry. yung isaw can easily dried out if not blanched or pakuluan, pwede mo pakuluan pero not that long para di madurog. You can use the marinate you made. Mas masarap pag ganun. :)

You should boil the chicken intestine for 10-15mins to make it tender and it won't be chewy as you had experienced. After boiling, you can start marinating it and then grill it.
