EUSA (European Union Space Agency) is an agency that already exists in 2042, so judging by description of the first bundle it seems like we are getting Battlefield 2042 part 2 set in space 😂😂
One might suspect they had a whole bunch of assets already done or planned for BF2042 when someone from EA said “you know what, if we set the next Battlefield in the same time period as BF2042 we can cancel 90% of the done/planned assets meant for BF2042 and use them for the coming game instead”
Honestly, I'd love them to do a 2142 remake. I rarely got to play the original back in the day because the master server would frequently disconnect. Loved Titan mode.
I hope not. Current DICE would butcher it. They already tried recreating Titan mode in BF4 Naval Strike. Carrier assault mode was pathetic compared to Titan. Commander couldn't move carrier, they are just buildings with script to open when enemy's score gets to specific amount. When carriers were open, it became spawnable via parachute on menu screen. All the team had to do is blow up 2 M-COMs. Wasted potentional just to make game more fast paced.

2142 stuff (EU and PAC skins, L5 Riesig charm, Talon gunsghip skin etc.) in 2042 is only moment when I try to get these cosmetics. BTR-1 Romanov seems to be spoof of BF2142's BTR-4 Romanov PAC's APC.
To be honest i preferred 2142 then bf2 bcause of titan mode
