I bought the screws driver set . I opened everything but the last screws are not opening by any of the screw drivers😢
Opening a harddrive can damage it! Only use this as last resort when you are sure this is the problem! Try other drive to diagnose the problem.
I have hardisk of Toshiba and the internal is not at all same what to do

When i connect Genuine charger white led show for one second than Gone.
I Try different charger than white led come and stay white forever.

Sean Dillard It turns on now but for me It goes onto a static screen now! I turned it back into Best Buy and I now I need a new laptop for online school.

I've got a similar laptop "Lenovo g50-80" but a different problem....
I got it second handed so I don't know the past of the laptop but I received it without a hard drive, ram and charger...
I got myself ram, found a universal charger and stole a hard drive from another laptop I got to test it....
Without charger, when turning on nothing happens (no sound, no screen, nothing)
Whenever I put the charger in the laptop the light besides the webcam turns on an after 1 or 2 seconds it turns of and nothing happens...
When I turn it on when the charger is in it, nothing happens (no sound, no screen, nothing)
On the right side, I guess a CD drive has to be there but nothing is there...
I guess that doesn't matter for the issues I've got
The charging light (I guess it's the charging light) is flickering orange slow.... I guess that's normal when the charger is in the laptop.
Any tips or information is welcome for my issue
in my g50 bios update after its update it got no display when you turn it you will hear the hdd and flash of the cam but no display
