Facing the scenic Putrajaya Lake, the Putra Mosque is arguably Putrajaya's most distinctive landmark and one of the most modern mosques in the world. A showcase of how mosque designs have evolved in Malaysia, Putra Mosque's Islamic-architecture artistically blends traditional designs, local craftsmanship and the use of indigenous materials. The mosque is modeled after Persian Islamic architecture of the Safavid period with elements derived from other Muslim cultures. Incorporating Malaysian, Persian and Arab-Islamic architectural designs, the main entrance to the mosque is fashioned in the likeness of public building gates in Muslim Persia.

It's strange to see so many Indians in Malaysia who
are Hindus. In India they are taking away the nationality of Muslims by citizens amendment bill. Here they live like kings in Muslim countries

In India they have their problems. Malaysia is a tolerant nation, and indians here have nothing to do with Indians in India. Besides, Indians in Malaysia are majority Tamil, south Indian. Mainland Indians are sometimes racist towards southern Indians as well. To the situation of opression in India, As Saladin said in the movie kingdom of Heaven : "I am not those men" We Malaysians have our ethnic problems, there have been riots in 1960s, and there is some hate and distrust here and there, but we are Malaysian.
