Lift 110 HA X - Downwind Foil Review

- First run on the Lift 110 HA X. 710 cm², 13.1:1 super high aspect foil. There is no way I could get this foil to lift if it were not for the Kalama Performance Barracuda. This board works perfectly for all downwind conditions. Pretty sure some downwind races are gonna be one on this Foil this year. This is one very fast foil.

What's your weight and board volume ?
sorry! I weight about 165lbs (75 kilos) and this is 105L board. 30L over weight in Kilos seem to be about right.

Thanks for great video Shep. What mast do you use and do you think the 150 X would also work for heavier rider (190 lb +) in light wind Florida conditions (16-18 knots)?
I use the standard (not the new X2) 28" mast. I like a short mast in Maui conditions, because it is more efficient not dragging more mast through the water. The X2 is thicker and slower, and only available in longer lengths so far. I have a new NoLimitz that I hope to have anyday now.....

Thanks man. This is a @kalamaperformance Barracuda it’s 8’ x 19”. The KD 13M has much better pitch control that the 25 glide. I also am using the long fuse from foilparts.com which helps control pitch. The 13M turns reall well too. It does not dig out of a hole well, but it does everything else well. There is no chance I’m lifting this set up without a Barracuda.
